Hi!

When will WOT fix the cap delay??? When in a tight game and just seconds seperate the teams in capping.. it still end up a freaking draw......

If a countdown, fix so it actualy triggers a win when hitting zero.... not letting the other team countdown their last seconds...

Working exactly like it should.
If you cap more or less at the same time, your win was not secured. So what?

It's not broken so it doesn't need fixing.  You know the rules of the game when you enter, if you don't want a cap race draw then don't let the other team cap.

I understand this can be a bit confusing, but this mechanic is good for the game. Why would it be a win just because someone got to enemy cap a second earlier than the other team?

It's intentional, been that way for many years. No fix coming friend.

Not saying I like it, but that's just the way it is.

If i remember correctly its 5 seconds before the match ends unless someone is killed in those 5 seconds, then it adds x amount of time to it. (Prob just restarts the 5 sec counter, but im not 100% sure on that)

I agree, if your team is first in, even by a second, you should win, some foot-races get won by milliseconds!

What is more disturbing, is that if you kill the last enemy AFTER they captured your base, the win is yours..............

In war you don't win because you got the base a second earlier

After the cap, there is a 5 second delay, the delay extends by 5 seconds every time a tank dies. So in order to win you have to be at leas 5-6 seconds ahead your enemy's cap timer and hope no one dies.

Sometimes it will force a draw when you "should" have won. Other times the enemy will be the ones who "should" have won.

It's only small compensation when you force a draw and both teams lose but in time it will affect everyone equally and it's what? One game in over a hundred? Two hundred? More?

That'd be a great argument, if World of Tanks was in any way, shape or form a race.

It works other way around too.

After killing last enemy you have 5s. to force a draw by killing yourself.

If none of the teams care about their own base. It should be a draw. If you won by capping first. It would be more broken tbh.

The only thing they need to fix about capping, is to reverse the cap over elimination fix. As that was the reason why the 5 sec counter resets to 5 after each kill.

An instructor once told me this little gem that I have never forgotten. It was based on an exam with a 75% pass mark. A colleague got 74% and stated that he had failed by 1% The instructor replied "you have failed by 26%"

We have up to 15 minutes to win the battle. If it comes down to five seconds of base capping time, then you have done something wrong. You have not lost by five seconds. You have lost by X minutes and 5 seconds. :P
