What is a decent premium tank with cheap ammo?

If you want cheap ammo it tends to be lower penetration and alpha, T54MOD1 standard rounds
Better penetration costs more FV4202
Penetration AND Alpha costs even more, STG
You gets what you pays for with WoT
Better alpha tends to get better credits for me

I already suggested this in your other thread.
Look at your service record.
What is one of your better performing tech tree tanks?
Then is there a premium version of it?
In your case OP you do better in your IS than many of your other tanks.
There is a premium version of it the IS Berlin occassionally available.
I suggest that would be a good credit earner for you as it suits you playstyle and gameplay based on your performance with the IS. Therefore you will earn more silver with it than picking a tank that might work for other players but does not suit you.

There are several reasons I did well in IS. First, it was years ago when tanks had weak spots. Second, I had a well-trained crew for IS. Third premium ammo was less used back than. Forth, I was grinding fewer lines. Fifth, etc

FV4202 Cent = Shell Cost 680/4400/170

T54 first proto = shell cost 252/4400/252
Type 59 = shell cost 252/4400/252
Standard rounds in the typical UK tanks = 680 sterling silver, whereas mighty stalinium shells cost 252.

It's related more to the penetration of the shell. The T-44 got 190mm standard pen while the Centurion got 226mm.
The Pershing also got 190mm standard pen which costs 255 credits.

As pointed out above, more penetration is more silver.
Let me just add that you'll hapily pay more for the ammo as bouncing is expensive. Thus any round with sub-par penetration like the T-44 and Pershing will stand a much higher chance of bouncing meaning you'll need more to do damage meaning they effectively become more expensive.
Basically, for best credit making you want high penetration and preferable also high alpha since in this game:
Damage = Credits/XP

Patriot has cheap ammo. But I'd go with high alpha high pen guns... skorpion and su 130pm and t-103... awesome pen, awesome alpha and ammo cost is irrelephant
But it's only me
edit: just saw you have lots of good premiums... well, Idk what to recommend now... it might be you, and not ammo cost

I'd say Lowe, has pretty cheap standard ammo & comes with high pen too. Quite easy to turn a profit with it. But don't diss the mid tier level prems, they can earn nice credits too if T8 or T7 turn out a bit hard to play.
For the midtier prems i'd say pick one that complements the lines you're grinding, so you can both earn credits & train crews that way.

T26E5 is by far the best tank in the game for credit earning in my experience, if that is solely what you're looking for.
Standard APCR is 255cr for 230 pen and 240 damage. The gold ammo is also APCR, has 259 pen, but costs 4400cr. Though I have never used gold in it, it simply never needs it.
Other than that; Type 59 (252cr for 250dmg), M41 90 (280cr for 240dmg), Pt. M10 (109cr for 135dmg), T-44-100 (same as Type 59), Type 62 (170cr for 180dmg), and I'll add Progetto 46 just because it is another tank that never needs gold (430cr for 240dmg).
BTW if you're thinking about maintenance costs, there is also repairs (and consumeables if none in depot) to factor in.

Two words for you:
Super Pershing...
Cheap ammo, cheap tank, decent machine, preferential MM, recently got buffed the most of other PMM tanks, etc...
Rest is personal taste.
