Nobody talking about the FCM 50t?

240 dmg, 212 pen, reliable accuracy and aim time. 250 silver each shot.

Oh, and you have pref MM on the bargain as well! So not only you never face tier 10, but you have more than enough pen to face tier 8 and tier 9.

Couse bringing in effectively a Med that gets matched vs a heavy (often enough some russian beast like Defender, IS3, IS3A) is usually a bad choice?

In general i think gun-handling are pen are much more a factor than shell costs: every shot i know that i'll pen with AP means i don't need to fire a much more expensive premium-round: if i can just safe 3-4 shots of premium-ammo per game that will usually even out whatever the cost of normal ammo is.  Calibre also matters a bit - it is simply nice if you don't need HEAT or even HE to fight some swedish tank or if you get access to all those yummy 40mm roof wreakspots (especially with all the T34 and T34B currently)

With the current introduction of Grand battles at tier 8, the MM is not a problem anymore. And to be honest I never found it a problem. Sure, the Defender is a pain in the arse, but dealing with broken pay2win tanks is not a problem at this point.

The FCM 50t is even better now after all the buffs it got. Sure it is not a Defender or a Patriot, but it is still fun. And no Tier 10!

After been beaten by it in tier 6 tank I would say is3a with 3 insta shoots and 1 after 10 sec so 1600dmg in 15 sec while joking with tiers 8 and below and having tiers 9 for practice targets and punching bags, for decent and avrage tanks I would go with scorpion, defender, patriot, lorraine 40t.

One of the Type 59's is very profitable.

The other will make a profit for the average player in 2047.

I would still rather cracking and opening heads of tiers 9 and below with is3a and play 2 more battles for same credit profit while doing so.

This.

Accurate, nimble, armored-ish, with 252 credit shell cost. A beast in good hands, needs to be played aggresively to make use of its agility. Don't YOLO it though.

Tier 8 and 7 light tanks.. with assisted damage and a win you make tons of credits....

Other than that, the Patriot and Ravioli are cheap and good credit makers  Projetto, Lorraine, skorpion, TS, 130 PM but they are all more expensive.

M44 tier 6 arty makes more money than most of the premium tier 8 tanks...

If IS has a good crew, howsabout T7 IS2?

I have absolutely NO idea on shell costs, I'm afraid, but it's damage output is good cos Russian, so can earn ok.

Panther/ M10 is quite good, with a good chance of ricocheting incoming shells.

Win or Lose (or have connection issues and reconnect in the last few seconds), every game is profitable.

While I agree tier7 is a good environment to earn credits and all that, I don't think IS2 or the variants are all that good. Lack of armor, poor accuracy and awful pen and no view range make them at least for me kinda unattractive as premiums.

Also, the shell cost:

KV-122: 1025 credits for 390 alpha (I'm assuming it's the same credit cost for IS-2 etc)

M4A1 Rev: 580 credits for 390 alpha

TBH, the one reason I suggested it is because it seems to work well for me and I'm not good. My stats on it are strong compared to most of my stats, and I don't like heavies too much.

But! Thanks for the challenge and the view on my recommendation - hopefully it will help the OP decide. :)

it's not tier 7 or 8, but looking at your record, your best choice might be a leFH.

My best money makers are the VK4503 and the T26E5.

Sta-2 maybe too, I didn't try it since the buff and I already liked it.
