Hello,

This tank is seriously OP, fast and the gun can pen tier 7s fronally, on top tier its insanely powerful

Make it tier 5 and reduce the pen of its top gun

Huh? Luchs has 110mm pen on it's premium rounds. That's hardly the thing that makes it stand out as a tank. :D

The reason it's good is the camo of the light tank while having very nice view range for it's tier. The gun is very punchy against most tier3-5 enemies and it's obviously very mobile and nicely handling tank all in all.

Is it OP? If you play it with a 50-75% crew, you'll probably do horrible in it. If on the other hand you have a couple skills on your crew, it becomes a very strong tank.

it is a light tank yet can pen every tier 4 frontally while having insane mobility and speed. Thats overpowered

No way is the pen the thing that makes Luchs OP, its the burst damage from the 3cm. The 5cm gun option on the luchs has 20mm more pen on the APCR than the 3cm but makes the Luchs a pretty average light tank.

Well, how would you rate:

T-28

-2388 dpm

-112mm pen on standard round, 189mm on premium

- 491m view range with a good crew

Matilda

- best armor on tier4

- accurate fast aiming and rapidly firing gun

- 1986dpm

- 490m view range

Marder 38t

- 2553dpm

- 110 alpha

- 108/154mm pen

- 452m view range

Thing is, if you get a good crew in some of the low tier tanks, they'll be monstrous.

T-28 is HUGE, pretty much dies very easily and has paper armour

Matilda is sooo slow and rightfully has good armour but low alpha damage and in tier 6 is not very good

Marder again paper tank and not got a turret

Luchs is super FAST and has a brilliant gun and has decent armour

The Luchs can kill any other T4 tanks (pretty much) in less then 1 second.

That is some sick firepower.

Yes luchs can punch good but pays for it with a insane long reload time, and if u do get it in your crossairs, it is dead fast...

To say it has decent armor, is... ke ke ke

Maybe the problem here is... U didnt yet figure the way to counter it?

Not a surprise to see a post about this because of the DDAY missions.

Only one light tank you can play and a light is ideal for doing these historical missions.

There have been games with 5 or 6 Luchs per team they wreak havoc

After the event you will see just a few as usual.

The Luchs and the Leopard are both pretty good with that gun though it does have limited range.

If its a good tank just play it and have fun.

Yea used it too for the d-day missions. Since autocannon hits are counted individually, all the missions that require x amount of hits on x tank class are super easy with it

Luchs is strong but only OP if you have a decent crew and know what you’re doing.

The armour is no way near OP and penning tier 7’s? Eh? It only meets tier 6 for a start.

The VR is what makes this tank. Most tanks have something half decent going for them. The Luchs is no different.

Missions from a 2-week event mini-marathon for a tier 5 French Wolverine premium that we're currently in day 10 of. Missions ranged from "play 3 battles" to "deal x amount of hits" with the requirements being lower in historical vehicles.

I bought the Luchs back. I played it. I sold it with 50% WR. I don't like it. I'll be honest, I don't like facing it either, but I hate Matildas even more.
