dear WG your WHEELED crapvehicles have 40mm thick plating... EVERY TIME I HIT THEM WITH HE  80+mm pen about 1000 potentional dmg and i deal 200-300 dmg....(or regular ap shell with no dmg at all...) WWWWWWWWWWWWWTTTTTTFFFFFFFF IS THIS... YOUR HITBOXES on that little CRAP are BROKEN. Shells are directly eaten by wheels and there is 0 dmg 0 change in speed or direction. EVERY more skilled light tank players are in this basicaly UNSTOPABLE there should be if direct hit destroyed wheel NOT DAMAGED but DESTROYED!!! Also there should be change in direction of that vehicle because there is BIG energy impact on that vehicle from that shell not like right now where that vehicle get multiple hits and that little crap is happily riding in almost same speed... FIX IT!!! OR REMOVE IT!!! your little maps are not BUILD FOR THIS FAST MOVING crap also your server response... here is video showing DIRECT HIT from 183mm shell with 0 damage just damaged wheel... DAMAGED BY 183mm SHELL!!! that shell is almost bigger then that wheeled crap!!!

They're not that big a deal, you just need to aim better.

What your crew should say is "missed the critter but clipped a wheel" because that's what is happening.

Yeah, that tends to happen when you shoot suspension modules in a place with no armour without it.

I shot a Leo 1 like that today. Very shocking.

Why do ppl say to aim better at wheelchairs? going at top speed you should aim very well, because you have nothing else to worry about its just you trying to aim and 14 enemys sending you to garage. Then you aim well and critical hit, ah damn it, it has such a big hitbox and i miss :(

Two reasons:

  1. They have no respect for the elderly.
  2. They're sure of their superior marksmanship.

Some facts goes against that theory though. Like how the wheeled vehicles having win rate ratios better than normal lights in the same tiers. The armor modeling behind the wheels themselves are sketchy at some places. Guns' accuracy in WOT generally got its limitations with dispersion and shell velocity making hitting these vehicles reliably very hard except for a few good guns.

Some very good players with excellent hit rates are also having trouble hitting and damaging those vehicles but it takes some time for the "aim higher" and "learn to lead" memes to die and for reality to set in!

Thay would be fun to just steal their wheels ;)

But many players are having a lot of fun with those tanks, so that will not happen.

Players also have a lot of fun in arty.

Still, I would appreciate arty removal.

Someone spamming HEAT not knowing how spaced armour works, what else is new?

Wheels are counted as armour so as soon as your shell hits those, its over.

As for leading, a good WV/LT driver will drive in such a fashion that it's nearly impossible to predict their path and thus to lead your shots. This is not WV's/Lights being OP, this is just them knowing what to do and how to play.

Since WV's are thoroughly underwhelming apart from the premium one, the speed is thoroughly needed as they are so blind that you *HAVE* to get close to your target to even spot it.

If you do a critical hit and dmg the wheel, the vehicle should come to a full stop like any tracked vehicle, and not have its speed reduced by 50%, which means it can still go 30-40km/h and escape.

But it is so rewarding to hit one of those 430U(icorns) in the tracks and have the HE penetrate :)

Actually it should penetrate at any angle anywhere on the tank. How the flying f*ck are bike wheels absorbing a freaking tank shell ?

If I hit a WV it should say "critical miss".

What is so critical when they limping around 60km/h after a hit?

Do you want me to link a slow mo of a Lada deflecting a shell?

Or more recently, a watermelon?

Both examples are 152mm shells

Having now played in the 178B.........I love these things!

Though this could just be an initial view that shall fade as the novelty of careening around the map like an ATV wears off.

I'm not using auto aim so that makes things really interesting, effectively taking pop shots as I go straight through the middle of the advancing enemy line.

All in all, combined with an XBone controller, they are a breath of fresh air and a welcome break from the monotony of grinding normal tanks.

There is no deflect from watermelons but just change of direction of that shell because watermelons have here function of space armor every space in armor have potential changing direction of shell... Bounce on lada is just because that blind russian missed that car totally and that shell just touched that roof...
