Yes, which is, what he actually states with saying 'we can help each other'.

I like the initiative.

Nope, genuine, as far as I can tell. Happens that we are a very international bunch of Gold N00bs, and not everyone is used to speak and write in English all the time... :honoring::coin:

The learning of English, requires a lesson lasting approximately one lifetime.

The first step is the hardest, so we'll begin with something simple. Repeat after me.

Through the trough, we learn enough, to cough from lofty bough.

Although it's tough, and sometimes rough, especially in Slough.

It costs no dough,

as on we plough,

to learn such words as thorough.

Hope this helps :)

Or...

Behind the curtain,

I am certain,

at least I would maintain.

That words like dear, and tear, and fear,

all spelt the same we hear,

should not cause strife, nor sleepless nights,

or be too much to bear.

After having the pleasure of reading your posts over the years Pansenmann, you are to be applauded for your mastery of the language.

Even a lot of English natives struggle with English. :)

Lurn German. It is the language of the future:

The European Commission has announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the EU, rather than German, which was the other contender. Her Majesty's Government conceded that English spelling had room for improvement and has therefore accepted a five-year phasing in of "Euro-English".

In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make sivil servants jump for joy. The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of the "k", Which should klear up some konfusion and allow one key less on keyboards.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year, when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f", making words like "fotograf" 20% shorter.

In the third year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible. Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil agre that the horible mes of the silent "e" is disgrasful.

By the fourth yer, peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".

During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords kontaining "ou" and similar changes vud of kors be aplid to ozer kombinations of leters. After zis fifz yer, ve vil hav a reli sensibl riten styl. Zer vil be no mor trubls or difikultis and everivun vil find it ezi to understand ech ozer. ZE DREM VIL FINALI COM TRU!

Herr Schmidt

What do you mean by helping each other? You need somebody else to help you otherwise you're both going to end up understanding each others broken English.

There are a couple of steps that can be taken to improve your English:

1. When watching porn, put the subtitles on to notice the soft nuances of English in it.

2. When watching hentai, put the subtitles on: You don't know Japanese! And you guessed: notice the soft and rather mellifluous nuances of English in it.

3. When watching Yaoi Lolli: a) check for FBI and CIA in bedroom closet; b) put the subtitles on, especially since you'll need your eyes diverted for whatever is on screen.

4. Learn to never Google Blue Waffle on Google images.

5. If you did Google Blue Waffle despite my warning, at least read the Wikipedia page as well, it's a rather interesting thing and it will improve your English.

7. Try typing in English more often, Reddit is a nice place, MeinKampf (also known as Minecraft) is yet another nice place, find somebody that constantly corrects you and you're set.

6. If your doctor handed you a prescription for "dayli sex" it might have dyslexia written on it and you're struggling to understand the word.

8. Maybe English is not the only problem at hand, I can find you're struggling with numbers. It's not 'Why was 7 affraid of 6? Because 6 eight nine.'.

EDIT: For those of you whom believe I am joking, rest assured. After years of self-pleasuring at black and white pictures of Mickey Mouse, badly translated from Russian into broken Hungarian, I have overcome my fear of VHS porn and as such the journey started. And the young, underage child of Romania has learned English, legend says his comprehension of said language grows stronger every day.

To help clear up some common misunderstandings on the meaning of everyday words used by English speakers, I've listed some of the real meanings.

Hope it helps.

Bratwurst - The very naughtiest of children

Canopy - A tin of urine

Car Park - How Noah saved the fishes

Extractor Fan - One who used to like farm machinery

Economist - Cheap fog

Leotard - A very stupid lion

Copper Nitrate - What a UK policeman gets paid after 9pm

Substitute - An underwater hooker

Dictator - Humorously shaped root vegetable
