Glad to see not only T8 premiums being sold. Have this tank, but havent played it much. Mid tier premiums just like this one need some love from the WG balance departement, but they seem too busy with higher tanks all the time.

The tank is really meh, while it's side armor with angle can bounce, it's frontal armor is not so effective!

Gun pen lets it down a little armour is decent for its tier but not fantastic, angled you can get the hull armour to about 120.

It has preferential MM too.

 

I bought it in a similar sale years ago and play it occasionally more for fun than anything else.

Used to be an OK tank back in the day.... now it's terrible. Also was available for free with prime more recently

On this subject, I sold mine years ago (only premium tank I ever sold) and regardless of it being average, I do regret selling it. However, why haven't I been able to restore it or have it restored in all these years?

 

I have 37 battles in it to prove that I owned it.

as a happy owner of this tank i say its awesome even though its pen is crap ( i understand why people dont like it at current game meta, with crazy tanks like OI and T 150 and gold spam this tank doesnt stand too much )  .... i hope WG put this tank on PMM tanks that needs buff

Great turret armour. It gives the enemy a mild massage, unless you pony up for some premium ammo.

It's because we are stuck on EU, and the EU support doesn't honor tank restore requests older than 3 months, and the in-game system does not track tanks sold before 9.16. My SU-85i is also gone, got over 100 games to prood I owned it.

Somehow i got this tank in my garage already. Just recently found out...

Now, look. 

I like what WG is doing. Its giving us plenty of freesbies tier 5 prem tanks (this one i had from past...), the sirocco, some from Xmas events etc, its nice to try and populate the low tiers, and move the emphasis from higher tiers to low-tiers. 

For some reason game is more fun down there. 

Grand Battles in tier 8, are much better than grand battles in tier 10... 
who knows why...

Have it since 4-5 years ago. Never played it. I mean - why would I? Churchill III is the only T5 SMM with amazing APCR penetration, also best all rounder for T5SMMs (maybe now the Pz 4/5 is a contestant).

 this prototype looks like a Sherman turret on a cruising tank, and that's pretty much what it is.
