I find it quite remarkable that naming and shaming is punished so hard but completely ignored in this case?

I can give my opinion on the matter but that is not what this topic is for (and I'm biased anyway because I like Skill). This topic is to question why there is so much difference in the moderating behaviour on this forum?

I hope this thread will not give me a warning point, in my opinion its a fair question, no offence intended, just an explanation desired....

I suggest clearing this topic and instead try to contact a mod, just for self-protection. I have the same question and already replied in the topic to the person that created the topic, to remove it, because of naming and shaming, but it's not really a good idea to discuss moderation on the forum.

Not really.. I have the idea he thinks he's better as a person then other people.

They have been monitoring the thread so an exception have obviously been made. Interesting, isn't it.

thanks for the advice. I'm a bit in doubt because of the QP like though...

Naming and shaming implies he is guilty of something.

Conspiracy theorists would probably have a field day if WG locked or deleted a thread about something that a large number of players know of and have experienced. This is quite different from accusing a player of something that you have to see in a replay, that would be exclusive to the player in question.

Skill is different from us normal players in that he puts himself out there to be discussed.  He actually raised the issue of cheating in the 1st place this time in a public forum & so is very much part of the discussion especially when he stated he'd never cheated. If someone felt they had proof that he did cheat then it is very relevant to his creditbility.

The fact that there are doubts about whether his actions actually consituted cheating or just exploiting a flaw in the system is what is being discussed & I think the mods are happy to wait & see if we reach the same conclusion about it that WG clearly did.

There were no replays in the thread that skill had not already made public himself.  Removing them later does not remove them from the public domain once published, clearly or they wouldn't be in the thread.  People in the public eye don't get to pick & choose which bits of their public actions people discuss.

I'd guess that this thread is far more likely to be removed than that one as it clearly breaks forum rules in discussing moderation even if you think it's justified.  I think blackbloods advice is sound & a qp like is also probably justified I'm afraid.

Ok this is pointless.... I didn't want to open another thread discussing skill or a bug/cheat from a few years ago...

might as well delete the post.

The reason and explanation is in Jakobssons post. Read it and try to understand.

There is no reason, nor an explanation in Jacobs post. Just an observation and a conclusion.

Then I’ll spell it out:

The ”Naming and Shaming” -thread is started by WG account and the purpose is to discredit Skill. And becuse it is a WG thread they’ll keep it open.

No the reason is because skill is a public figure & he named & shamed himself if anyone did

It's not a difficult concept so no need to go all flat earth about it.

To further elaborate:

The only reason for WG to discredit Skill is that the scam Skill discovered is real.

I don't believe the "delay scam".

The game is manipulated by RNG, as in not random.
