EDIT2: well from conclusion of multiple people here, aswell as multiple clanmates looks like I did get crushed by my platoonmates ammoracked cupola, and it makes sense. Still is funny as hell. :teethhappy:

Hello tankers!

Today I died in the wierdest way, and it still bothers me. Me and a clanmate were playing some IS-7 platoons. At one point my platoonmate peeks on a jgpz E100 gets shot and ammoracked, right afterwards I peek to shoot at the jgpz E100 and I get killed by ''crushing''.

I still have no idea how that happened, we 1st thought maybe platoonmates ammoracked cupola scratched me on low hp and finished me, but that would happen straight after the ammorack.

So if anyone could explain this funny moment to me.

You drove underneath his gun and took damage from that. When your platoon mate got ammo racked his turret and gun became a physical object in the world. If it "falls" onto you you take damage.

Yup, that is my conclusion as well. Under normal circumstances you drive through the gun but you can see OP pushing against it at 9:53.

It sucks but it looks like a very rare example of wonky mechanics.

So our intial idea seems to be correct.

Wonky indeed, had a good laugh with my toonmate and the jgpz, maybe this gets me an RNG badge :medal:

There's a lucky badge, there ought to be an unlucky badge as well :teethhappy:

Glad you can see the humour in it and came to the forums with a replay. Forum kudos! :medal:

I could either cry or laugh, and with the sound of my toonmate  laughing I couldn't help myself but laugh, honestly how often do you see stuf like this :teethhappy:

I did get dmg from flying turrets before but this was the 1st time I saw it killing a tank, thankfully I had 18hp :great:

OP; big thanks for being a sensible person & create a nice post about an odd thing you encountered and asking for an explanation & providing a pic & replay along with it.

It is so refreshing to see. Thanks for that.

Thanks for the kind comment, I don't browse forums that much, and didn't realise it's so bad :( (I mean I've heard but honestly only after a bit of browsing I realise..) , but yeah this was a really funny moment I wanted to share aswell as actually learn what happened. Hope it helpes someone else. :teethhappy:

Also just to mention the jgpz is on the same language speaking area so we really had a good laugh, my platoonmate still doesn't belive it.

Also why cry about it when it can be fun. (I mean thats why we play this game :playing:)

Jfyi my is-7 cupola was flying only from JPZ E100 tanks... One of the many reasons i sold the tank.

Minor correction: it's not just the cupola flying, it's the whole turret. And the IS-7 does not actually have a weakspot cupola: Wargaming deemed that unnecessary, or unfair plane.

Yeah this was a bit of lingual mistake, but it is fully shown in the replay. and the picture it's the whole turret (cupola+gun barrel) :)

Weill it was fairly obvious what you meant with 'cupola'. :great: However, another minor correction: a turret is more than just a cupola + gun barrel. :bush:
