I hate the fact that consumables became more expensive in the camouflage update (can't remember the number), and now you have to buy them for gold, instead of "renting" them for 7 or 30 days. Now the only camouflage you can apply for credits is the default one, but if you want to fully decorate your tank, it will cost over 1k gold. Look how they massacred by boy...

After the recent and currently concluding event this is somewhat anticlimactic, so you should be pointing out the massive in game bonus for today, plus 50 and 250% to combat and crew experience! However, I will be remembering D-Day in a more reflective place than WoT, don't get me wrong, I may log in for some games, but WoT is not the place for remembrance or reflection!

Tell you what, how about you provide some historical tank markings/features, solely for tanks that hit the beaches on D-Day to say D plus 30, for free, that stay on the tanks and do not transfer, and in the tank description you explain the roles those tanks played in Normandy. You could do the same for other campaigns/battles like Kursk or Zitadelle. Make it something subtle, not garish, to reflect on, maybe some players would follow up to read or watch some history and reflect on what was and those who went there.

but its what we expect from WarGaming, a Meh reward is standard for most things unless it's to do with the Russians.

How does it cost that much? Three of each seasonal pattern (covering hull, turret and gun) costs a total of 450 gold so unless you're counting various customisation elements on top, I don't see how you reach a total of more than 1k gold. And you can buy it for 50% off right now, meaning you can stock up while it's cheap and apply it later.

This has been a decent special with decent rewards and is not hard to complete at all.

More historical missions/events would be nice although I am aware of the difficulties involved.

Lol. This is just on top of the marathon bonuses. Indeed a consumables discount would be welcome, but all things in good time; they always come sooner or later.

Probably you use the wrong "Screen Settings" for the game.

I don't know the size of you screen, to give you an accurate advice ... so, the next time you will start the game, you have to go to "Settings" and make some tries at the "Screen" panel ...

... "play" a little with the available options and keep/save that what is better for you (for your screen).

this is all that I have on the 100% screen, my mouse goes to the borders so it means that it's a full screen and no buttons are hidden. just there is no button to exit this menu. omg i already hate D day...

Just because someone hands you trash, doesn't mean you should be happy.
Alas it is tier V.

That being said, i am fine even without events.
So ain't gonna complain about some extra xp.

You can still make some tries with the settings ... or try to remove any mod you use and see the results ...

... I cannot help you anymore, this is not a "general" problem, it is a rare one and this means that something goes wrong with your PC (or settings), not the game client.

Trash or not, it is still a FREE premium tank ...

... now, if YOU don't like the various events, it is just your personal perspective ...

... because a lot of other players appreciate the free things which come with easy missions/events.

I prefer the new camouflage paint system to the old.

Old system you could rent camo its true but renting for more than one or two tanks was impractical so I bought some for gold.

The price increased by tier but there really was no point in buying camouflage other than for a tank you were 100% certain you would keep.

So premiums only.

Even so I ended up over the years buying a fair bit of camo paint.

 

New system Tanks have 3 parts you can paint and none turreted tanks have 2

Painting just the hull gives the camo bonus and costs 50 gold 25 if there is a sale on.

So you spend 75 gold and can apply camouflage paint to a tank for one season 225 gold paints one tank for all 3 seasons, 500 gold costs £1-93.

But you can move the camo from tank to tank so that 225 gold would paint every single German tank in the game.

 

So for under £2 you can permanently paint 2 entire tech trees and there are 11 in the game.

2475 gold paints them all so for £8-43 you can permanently paint every tank currently in the game for all seasons.
