HE shells on wheeled vehicles

Don't you think having HE pen like real derp guns is a bit too much for 1,16 aiming time? Most of the derps have 3s+ aim... 

That thing changes the game completely... And we are not talking all the other bugs with those tanks. There are some major problems, which players refuse to admit. 

Being small and fast target, shooting HE with precision and greater penetration, even having the ability to ricochet bullets without armor or single track absorb... Add to that the highest camo possible, so they can just jump out of nowhere, shoot you and vanish with highest speed, even backwards which was possible only by swedish tanks by now. 

Okay let's balance them by reducing view range... Perfect logic. Who wouldn't take one disadvantage for 5+ advantages? 

 

Currently EBR's demolish other lights.

You could ask your self the same thing about the Black dog, Heck the UK high tier guns have 102 HE pen.  And now with the upcoming med rebalance. The German meds get HE pen = to their caliber. As that seems to be the new fix for everything. As -10 gun depression was the last one.

 

But... wheeled lights need it tbh. If they need the HE pen = caliber is a different matter. But at least high HE pen in general. As it only works to counter other lights. If not they would have less DPM then lights 2 tiers lower, and could not counter anything if the target has the same or more HP. If the HE pen was reduced, then IMO they should get a minor ROF buff if the focus shits to AP as a means to counter other lights. As they can't spot any way to do that job. So LT counter is what most use them for.

Mostly yes. 

But can you pee rocks out of your...? :) Cos that is what is happening now. Small/tiny gun, big damage.

There was not needed another LT counter. We already have arties, mediums, TDs, heavies... Like all that wasn't enough to insta delete you upon flashing.

Black dog is slow as molasses when compared to wheeled vehicles, it's a huge target and doesn't have the same autoaim.

First of all: it's not a derp gun and this is just one advantage over a HUGE disadvantage --> terrible view range for a light tank.

small? they aren't that small and if I look at the amount of useless topics posted on this forum about the enhanced auto-aim and people hitting every shot with them.. very annoying. I miss a LOT of my shots on the move, even on flat terrain, with that enhanced auto-aim, so the topics seem very biased. bouncing shells have nothing to do with the fact that they have no armor. shells get absorbed by wheels with no armor behind it and on spots with auto-bounce angles, which is the same as on a lot of other lightly armored tanks.

Disadvantages I can name up straight-away: very low view range, big turning circle, low dpm, low penetration on most of them, on every tier they have lowest hp pool of their class. Well.. That's 5 disadvantages already. Try again.
