I do wish one could go into a training room on your own when your friends are not on the game. 
we would also like some targets in the training room that we could try to hit from different points. 
We would still use ammunition up so WOT will not lose. 
This will allow players who are on shift work or not always free when Clan members are for what ever reason to test out the tanks guns etc and get to know the maps a little better, there are some maps which I suddenly realise i never been to one post or part of the map as you get kill most times there. LOL 
But having maps for say Clan members only, in order to make people join a Clan, as an incentive, would be good.

I would like to be able to use the training room solo too as it is a good way to get to know the maps better.

learn those maps together, you can do it now instead of waiting who knows how long until WG makes your dreams come true.

Not gonna happen. As it's a server issue. As having one room with 30 players, or even 60 is one thing. As even if you had 120 000 players online. You run anything from 1000 to 3000 rooms at any given time. 4000 if they were all in a battle vs in the garage.

 

So if you suddenly had 10 000 of those in a solo room. Then that's 3x more rooms then he runs for the other 110K online. So you see the idea here.

Then the last straw:

If training rooms on the server is too much load, then let us have training rooms client side.


 

Answer:

No, WG has no interest in installing a bunch of additional mechanics data and enable all the calculations client side (which would then be neccessary when running training room on your own rig), which would allow too much data mining on things WG does not want you to have.

As it should be. If you knew how everything was calculated and how it worked. Hidden info could suddenly be exploited by some as they knew how the hidden mechanics worked. You could argue with that WG could turn some of those off. And set it to a default offline parameter. Like default spotting at a set distance regardless. No 25% rng on pen, no shell drop etc.
