Hi all.

I`m having some wierd issues with my ping on World of Tanks.

My ping is between 50 - 100 when playing World of Tanks, but when i`m playing World of Warships i`m steady at 40 - 50.

Does anyone have an idea what could cause this? Not that it bothers me.. but it`s seems wierd since WG have both games.

Could the problem be that i`m using VSYNC?

The icon is packet loss.

In game ping only counts packets which make the full round trip.

You need to run pingplotter, point it at login.p1.worldoftanks.eu or login.p2.worldoftanks.eu depending on what server you use.  Leave it running while you play a couple of rounds, if you have lag/red icon then save the trace as an image file and post it on the forum.

I've posted those images to show you that I excluded WoT in the Firewall and antivirus

There should be no need to do anything with your firewall or antivirus.

Did you have lag during the time you had pingplotter running?  Those traces are showing no packet loss.

I have little lag and sometimes the game freezes for a second but not the whole game, the game is running and there is smoke coming from the tanks and the grass is moving but the tanks are standing and it happens for a second and then it runs normal again

Did it happen while you were running that pingplotter trace?

It sounds like the typical lag you get from using wifi but nothing is showing on the pingplotter trace.

[edit] There are some ping spikes to your router but no packet loss.  Are you using wifi?

No I'm using a cable connection, and the lag and freezes are are happening always when I play, first it starts to lag a little and then it freezes for a second and then it runs normally and after a while it happens again

Well those pingplotter traces are fine.  The high ping spikes to your router are a bit of a concern but overall there is nothing to see.

I would try a router reboot.  And run pingplotter for a bit longer, maybe it just missed the time when you had the issue.
