that they would take the pnz4 of us and  that they would  never bring back the original Ausfb from beta and that they would turn the tiggy 2 into a laughing stock all though changes are coming to it but we shall see

the MM+4/+5 for lights...i picked the french lights...then i hit the ELC....and oh boy!.....i had to learn the wot wiki by heart on the camo mechanic, discovered 6th sense,  wot wiki helped me a lot....then i jumped on more easier light lines ( russian and US), i liked that MM +4/+5, credits+++, managed to stay around 54% WR. and trolling 4 tiers higher with a ELC was priceless but one mistake and it was over.

That patience is possibly the most important aspect of the game. I bought plenty of premium tanks and time in order to speed along my grinds only to discover that I wasn't particularly bothered about the top tiers when I reached them. I could have saved myself a lot of money and time if I'd only had the patience to stick with a grind or two until I realised.

Has the Centurion Mk. 5/1 RAAC been gathering dust like you feared or does it still see active use?

I wish I knew that Spall Liners dont work like I thought they work. :P

Now I have a garage full of Heavy tanks with incomplete equipment.

I wish I had known from the start that there exist something commonly called “Russian bias”. So I would have avoided to focus 90% of my playing time on German tanks. Since I started focusing more on Russian tanks, I get killed a bit less and kill a bit more enemies.

Now I play all countries, but my most memorable games are with Russian tanks...

If you are a shitty player like myself, the Russian line is a must. Being a shitty player on a Tiger I is an appalling experience :D

How WG treats the player base.
I wouldn't have put this much money into it knowing this upfront.

That grinding is a mugs game

I try to resist... believe me, I do, but you make it so easy.

You say grinding is a mug's game, but what do you call spending hundreds and hundreds of Pounds/Euros for the level of performance that you demonstrate?

By playing tanks up the tiers, you might have actually learned something. Progressing faster by using a Premium account is one thing. Buying your way into high tiers with Premiums, or skipping tanks with hundreds of thousands of Free XP has got you to where you are today.

You must be so proud.

On to the OP question...

I wish I'd realised the value of crew training in the early days. It might not have changed the way that I dismissed half-trained crew members, but I might have made better choices about how to train and use crews.

Also, I wish I'd decided to collect Free Premiums instead of selling them randomly. I might never play them, but it's nice to collect them for nothing.

That the game isn't about reaching tier 10.

Press + to make the map much bigger.

Although technically this should come behind at least one more thing, don't be the one in the one versus many fight I think it still made the biggest difference in the game and calmed me down from crazy rush.

How the in-game economy works - took me ages to realise the amount of wasted exp on some lower tier tanks.

Premium. When I had the TIME to play I had no money; now it's the other way round.

Crews - I had no idea about how the whole crew system worked, how to move crews about and how to retrain them.  There was virtually no in-game help and I probably dismissed 20 crews unnecessarily while grinding tanks.

1. Tanks are not balanced. (And WG does not want to balance them ... everyone knows ot the OP tanks and the UP tanks)

2. Non existence ot customer support. (While WG gives support concerning billing issues, WG mostly does not care of game and/or player related issues)

3. While this game is called "free-to-play", using end-game content (tier X) needs active payment from player. (Would you say World of Warcraft is free to play because you can play till level 20 for free?)

4. Too few maps. The number of maps too low compared to the number of played games. Which is very boring.(There are 37 maps + 3 grand battles, + 1 FL, if you had played 10000 battles you had played 1 map 243 times. 40000 games = 1 map x 975 times.)

Very few of my tanks have seen any use for the last few months. "I need a short break" became "why did I play this so often?" surprisingly quickly.

The difference between free-xp and tank-xp.

I managed to grind to tier 4 by playing the tier 1 tank because I liked that one over the tier 2 and 3 tanks... after seeing the xp requirement for tier 5 I realized there was something wrong :teethhappy:

That for some, the game is an excuse for intolerance and abuse.

That for some the ability to think about cause and effect does not exist.

That it is much easier to have some grand conspiracy focussed against them than have some reasonable mechanism that can explain an outcome.

That many people want the game mechanics rewritten just for them.

That many people believe an arbitrary line on a map can affect a person's intelligence.

That man people believe made up numbers, that can be exploited because their mechanism is known, equals skill

That many people take for granted the ability to play with and communicate with people across several continents, simultaneously. Yet still, do not understand that the speed of light is finite and that computers take time to think.

Oh and that sixth sense is the most important crew skill.

There is a lot, but if I had to pick one - server reticle.

When I first started playing, I had very bad Internet connection. My ping reaching above 999ms was not uncommon. In those cases, nothing would have helped. But when I wasn't experiencing a severe lag spike, my ping would average 100-150ms. Server reticle made a huge difference to my aim. Leading targets was far more reliable. Even now, with my very stable albeit slow connection, server reticle feels like an absolute must.

For you, what would it be?

That crew and skills/perks are more important than tanks

Obviously not since I can't continue playing from level 21.

If I had to play for example 5 missions in order to advance every level after 20 then I would call it F2P.

In WoT you have to play low tier battles to afford TX. And that's also true for paying customers. I've lost 2m credits playing T10 for the past few weeks with premium time and credit boosters.

Sounds like you need a motivator. :P

But everyone needs a break and some times old games just dont do the trick anymore.

This game could be entirely free to play actually, if you grind Prems in Marathons or bought them on the Black Market so you can keep you credits up.

Granted T10 would be a special occasion but it would be possible.
