I wish I had learned about clans way earlier. I played my first Skirmish after 2,5 years (~11k games) into the game.

That crew and skills/perks are more important than tanks

Not sure of what you learnt. A good crew on a bad tank will not save it, a bad crew (at least 100% I mean) on a good tank can still do something.

Imo : Map Awareness 》 Tank 》 Crew

Server reticle is a good one for sure. I think for me it would be to just pick up at least a basic proper gaming PC. I winged it with a work PC for probably more than half my total battle count and it just wasn't up for the task, things froze, jittery laggy frame rates, was just horrible really now that I think about it.

So far as what would I have wished I knew for playing this game goes, I would say spotting mechanics aka the art of double bushing and the location of our tanks detection and spotting points. I think if a new player understands how to double bush and how to properly hide and spot with his tank, he will double his effectiveness immediately... if not more.

That sixt sense it a very important skill to have. I think I played my first 10k battles without it on any of my tanks since I thought it was not needed and overrated ....

Better tanks don't make better players.

For you, what would it be?

Knowing the game would last more than the 6 months I expected.

Then I might have bought longer premium packages and saved money overall.

How WG treats the player base.
I wouldn't have put this much money into it knowing this upfront.

WG will not get another single cent from me, while they so obviously don't give a rats buttock about the EU community

I wish I knew at the time that WoT is run by the very definition of uselessness.

Commonly known as WG.

I wish I had know I could transfer crews...  When I sold a tank I always got a new crew.  Got to T10 in the US line with a stock crew each time

Yeah, I agree.

They did make a fantastically addictive non-existent drug though... so hats off to them for that. :sceptic:

I wish I knew when I started that the hero wasn't the one battling it out in the open, but rather, it was the one hiding behind the rock.:hiding:

*insert some reasoning as to why they're still here, as well as some rant as to why the game is terrible*

How much fun this would be. I never played for years because it looked "too complicated". Boy was I wrong (not about it being complicated it is certainly that) but about it being no good because it's complicated to play. It's good precisely because it is complicated and takes effort if you want to improve.
