Every single day we get the conspiracy theorists here, who must go through tinfoil like I go through bog roll. Every day those of us who understand how the game works try (and usually fail) to get across to these individuals how the game works and why their theory might be full of holes. The following is an attempt to highlight, in one place, the issues that are raised and the answers that I, and many others, try to give in order to educate these players.

I will do it in Spoiler format to avoid a huge post window.

1. RANDOM battles.

Spoiler

2. Good players and bad players

Spoiler

3. Rigged battles.

Spoiler

4. HAX and CHEATS.

Spoiler

4. RNG.

Spoiler

5. OP Tanks.

Spoiler

6. Personal Reserves and Premium Account.

Spoiler

7. Premium ammunition and pay to win.

Spoiler

This line has been left intentionally in case I need to offer another subject.

Edit- for formatting.

I appreciate the intention behind posting this list but I fear it'll do little to persuade any of the tinfoil milliners. Those guys come here to confirm their nonsense, not discuss it.

I will make only one post in this thread

Are mods still allowed in WoT?

Are mods still allowed in WoT?

I have played without mods for a considerable time now. The difficulty is in keeping them up to date. I have used a couple of mods from installer systems, such as OldSkool ProMod, that have since been banned but after trying them, I was happy to leave them out.

The direction of aim indicator is one that I used a LONG time ago, long before WG decisively defined the banned mods. It shows were everyone is aiming their guns- including the enemy. This mod would be great to show where YOUR team is aiming, though. Imagine scouting the 1 and 2 lines on Prokhorovka and thinking that half your team is ready to shoot. This mod shows you that they are all still aiming across the centre ridge. Very useful!

Many mods are benign. As I said, I like the XVM "Reserve" feature. It has a better overall garage filter, but Reserve allows you to permanently hide tanks that you either never play, or are taking a break from, or do not wish to see for some other reason. When I do have XVM installed, all of my tier II gift Premiums are set to Reserve. I also like the in-game clock.

Many mods that have been deemed to offer an unfair advantage have been banned. Somewhere exists a list of these and a location where you can acquire mods that have been approved- for now.

I to woke early this morning, but what I got off my chest was a good looking nubile blond woman, once peeled off the fun began.

Couldn't agree more, but I'm looking forward to the tinfoil responses, indeed, I'm somewhat disappointed someone hasn't labelled you a shill already...

Are you sure you were awake already and not just dreaming?

I bought a little alarm clock from the pound shop for ... er ... a pound ... and keep it below the monitor. While it cost more than installing a mod, it works in all games and even tells me the time when the computer isn't switched on!

The road to Hull is shaved with rude pretensions ... or something like that.

Although I was dreaming before waking, the weight on my chest was thankfully real, she's flesh and blood. Many people say she looks like a younger Meryl Streep.

So you fell asleep on the job? Goes for a change I suppose, traditionally it's women that fall asleep with the guy on top... unless of course you were making reference to an image of hot blonde on your chest and that was a skin mag you had to peel off your chest. Makes more sense now actually.

One of the best posts I have read in a long, long time.

And your "Hide" approach was very wise and creative.

Also, very nice to see almost zero negative responses  That is an amazing accomplishment !  :medal:.

Don't worry, the tin foil hatters will be along shortly, foaming at the mouth, bitter that they suck at a game they wish they didn't and ready to blame anyone and anything as long as it isn't them...

Has anyone seen arthurwellsley and Bulldog Drummond together?  Do we know they aren't the same person?

There aren't enough +1's to give this thread.

If you read it and don't agree with it then you didn't understand it. Go read it again until you do.
