The tog 2 is a personal favourite of mine and it looks fabulous.

The name actually TOG 2 sounds so bloody strange i was thinking of tugs that pull the ships in to the harbour when i think about the Tog 2 one would certainly think im off my bonce :D.

So im wondering who else loves this tank ? I for one cant wait for this vehicle to be added its going to have a space in my garage for sure and most probably will be played all the time considering im British.

A few things to note about the Tog 2 is its maximum speed is only 13KM that's in British terms 8MPH very slow indeed but you then have to consider this thing is a snail ;).

Discuss the Tog 2 :).

It really does look like an anti infantry tank, a small calibre gun and large size to hide behind. Odd indeed.

TOG stands for "The Old Gang", as it was designed by the same who created the MkI tanks of thw first world war, under the supervision of ww1 veterans, and this was the 2nd version, the 1st version looked like the MkI tank.
It had/has a 17 pounder gun, or 76mm, max armour of 75mm, and a top road speed of just 14km/h (8mph)

Supposedly this is planned as a British PREMIUM heavy.  I was talking to a mod a while back anyway and that was what he said.

:D haha yeah i know the problem is if it is going to be a premium how are they going to calculate the armour ?

Supposedly it has the weaker gun and the better armour similar to the KV5 ?

Anyway i was keen this was the British maus looks like im wrong :(.

Still i love the tog 2 i await further information.

It's going to be a lot like a KV5 I'd imagine, though the 17pdr is a lot smaller than the 107mm that has so probably only tier 6 or 7 rather than 8.

with 75mm of armour, it would make a good T5 Heavy premium

Tier 5 heavy, yes I like it. Something to go toe-to-toe with KV. Sod the premium bit,m I want to work for it.

75mm of armour seems a bit thin for this monster, doesn't it?

Epic tank!
When it blows up, it causes 1000HP splatter damage with its rivets flying around :D

Can it make a turn on its own, or does it need to be put on rail turntable?

Cause a VK3601 looks so sleek and full of Teutonic beauty?

Compared to german tank-designs ... YES

show me ONE elegant or beauty british tank ... all of them are ... "oldfashioned" (to say it in a nice way)

Only the newer tanks Centurion and the Challanger are nice tanks (influenced by german designs?  ;)  )... but .. what build in the great war .... forget it ...

Matilda 2 has a certain rustic charm to it, it's like driving an old cob walled cottage! :D
