Probably it is metaphoric ... I think that they wanted to say "stiff".

Recovering disabled vehicle is very grim business. And I think the most of remains had passed the stiff phase.

Guess benefits of running your irregular unit is that you can use what you can lay your hands on.

And then people wonder were the french got a reputation for cowardice during ww2. Never fired a shot in battle and gets a medal for retreating. Hmm :sceptic:

Like others have said a good read. Have always wondered if  WG would ever introduce the British "Cuckoo" Panther which did see action in WWII as a premium?

either

A have the all have tanks mentioned have hot-links

 

B have no hotlinks at all
