Zefrim(something) one of your ''admins'' was just randomly givng people a chat ban

I got a 3day ban for no reason at all

I wasn't profane

I wasn't racist

I wasn't spamming

I was just talking to an ingame friend in gen chat

but got banned for ''heavy spamming''

are you out of your minds?!

I was having a conversation, we're supposed to wait 1 minute between sentences?!

That person shouldn't be an admin

I'm positive I'm not the first who has experienced this by that person.

It's ridiculous.

I just logged in

I said ''hi'' to gen chat and ask 'how are the games?''

he's in there and responds ''been having a bad run, how about you?''

I respond with ''I just logged in''

this was under a minute of me logging in and typing 3 or 4 sentences in gen chat.

completely idiotic.

create a ticket

if you have screenshot of the conversation they should revoke the ban

under EU law (and your country of residence probably to) they have to proof you violated and breached the "rules" that warrants the ban, giving a standard copy paste answer like they usaly give you is not a valid answer or proof

It's a private chat channel and WG can revoke access to whoever they choose whenever they feel like it and they are not required by any law to justify why to anybody.

by banning him for 3 days the claim he violated the rules and is in breach of the EULA, a binding contract, as such he has the right to know what he did and get evidence of such breach

well, i am not angry, just stating facts

on average i get 4/5 temp chat bans (1 day, 2 days, 3 days, longest a month) a month in WoWs due to report abuse

my "crime"?

playing as i see fit in random battles

i get reported a lot when playing carriers and there are stil players out there that think i am there personal servant or AA guardian and telling people to report me, destroyer players are the worst for some reason

when you look up the destroyer players stats, in 98% of the time they have no expierence in carrier gameplay

when you ask support to lift the chat ban, al i ever get is a standard copy paste answer that helps nothing

You were in general chat, that's enough reason to ban you from chat.  It's for your own safety.

They're not in breach of the EULA. The EULA states they can revoke chat for a breach of the rules at their discretion.

"For breach of the rules" and within EU it needs a proof.

However, we do have a proof of forum rules breach in this very post, so now he risks forum ban aswell :)

That would be the same EULA which you agreed to on installation and are equally contractually bound by in which you accepted that WG have the right to revoke access at their discretion.

Good luck suing WG, you'll need it.
