Selling prems that are available in the tech tree since forever sure sounds like a genious marketing idea.

It's in a bundle, that's why it's sold like this.

No.

Its not OP.ITS UP! (Underpowered)

Classic double 2 for prem ammo

Then the powercreeped tanks...

SP is dead tank.

I find the tank balanced actually. The armor is good but also has weakspots which is totally fine. mobility is not great but not bad either, is just regular heavy tank mobility. Gun is pretty good, the standard penetration is ok against tier 8 tanks, even against some tier 9's. Preff mm on it make it a decent buy. I would actually recomend it, as it is a good credit maker and quite enjoyable to play. (of course if you expect a fast medium for flanking and ninja play choose something else).

I must have dozens of forum posts ripping on this tank, but I have to admit it's been pretty solid whenever I needed it for a nation based marathon.

If that is balanced to you, then i am an idiot.

SP vs Defender?

SP vs Squad of Spaghettos?

SP vs IS3?

Count that arty clicks on you too...

Its gun is OK,not good but OK,but the armor is awful, just like its speed.

but you compare it with OP tanks ? by your logic all the rest of 99% of the tanks are not balanced because there is Defender and Spaghetti tank.

btw SP vs IS-3 is a decent fight, but you still compare one of the better tier 8 heavy tanks (that can see tier 10) against a preff mm medium tank. You are not supposed to go on a fight 1v1 against an IS-3, but you can still defeat it. With Defender is a different storry but as I said that tank is not balanced but OP.

WG I would have bought this package but I renewed my monthly subscription 48 hours ago and ended up with some crappy teir two tank...so you lost out on getting more of my money.

It is good after the pen and speed buff, not the best med out there, but it is cheap, has pref MM and is forgiving to mistakes. Good first premium for a new player.

I agree - especially the forgiving part. it took me ages to find out about weak spots and this tank is the one that I found them in - guess I should have checked the guides before.

And as everybody knows the weak spots you can easily use them to bait shots :)

Powercrept? Yes - especially those Progettos are really annoying with their standard rounds going through the old box.

Dead tank? defenitely not - still better than the regular tier 8 'Murican meds.

SP vs Defender is a hard one.

SP vs a Squad of anything is no good

SP vs Progetto is hard as the Progetto has a standard pen so high it renders most older tanks frontal armor to cheese

SP vs IS3 is pretty balanced.

Arty usually has better targets than the old SP - especially everything French-Heavy.

Slow. Useless armor against Defender and all the other tier 8 with super high pen. Plus everybody knows its weak spots.

Basically WG is just lying about T26E4 being a "Bouncy Boi"

2 year ago it was something, now everybody at T8 can pen you. I will sell it soon if wg is not fixing this.

See bellow my review of it in romanian.

Medium tier 8 vs Heavy Tier 8

Medium vs 3 Mediums

Medium Vs Heavy "your repeating yourself"

Arty clicks on everyone.

Gun is good for a tier 8 Medium tank

Armour from the front, lower plate 76mm +38mm +38mm

Upper Plate 101mm +38mm +38mm

Turret front well don't even bother anywhere on the gun mantle that covers most of it.

Frontally you have to find the weak spots or have 230 + pen to get through the upper plate if the SP angles the plate maybe 250 +.

HEAT will do little due to the double spaced armour.

Its a slow support medium with great armour.

Meets a defender it loads gold hopefully it spots the blind as a bat defender well before he spots you 390 vs 350 vr

Progetto X3 you shoot one then die they are faster and have autoreloaders most mediums would also be dead.

IS3 shoot the turret roof like we all do the IS3 has poor armour 20mm there its an easy overmatch for many tanks.

Ohhh...  I understand, so Panther88 is GREAT and BALANCED tank, because one day on the blue moon you will fight against T34-85M and you can kill it because you have 3x more Hit Points....

But Tier6 tank still has better armor, DOH.

As long as OP Tanks are in the game - they are the BENCH MARK, and the rest of 99% of "normal tanks" are compared AGAINST most OP broken premium TANKS.

Because Premium Tanks (Defender) will NEVER GET NERFED!!

And every old forgotten bad tank needs to be buffed to same level as Defender, until that hapands the game will NEVER be balanced.

And not too soon after "bouncy boi" comes on bundle sale, his big brother "Even bouncier boi" T26E5 comes on sale. What kind of a person would buy the Super Pershing when the T26E5/Patriot is available?

Like, some sense into these tech tree premium tank bundles that they don't get undercut by their bigger, and meaner cousins right on the same week, or the one after it.
