Recently i received again a 30% discount. Thought this one will expire without use again, but then i checked the stats of Pz S35 tier 3 premium tank, which is pretty similar to Pz B2, only the lack of that stronger armor separates them and less HP. It's not something extraordinary, but it's not bad tank either. Defo worth the money, not like most tier 8 premiums. Tier 3 meets only +1 tier higher, while normal tier 4 tank can meet tier 6, a.k.a +2. That's why i bought that cheap tank and used the code as well.

1/ After 30+ battles i realised that +1/-1 is more forgiving when you don't have the best crew or all modules researched. Which leads to less rage quits leaving you in frustration.

2/ The seal clubbing at that tier isn't such big factor, because most of the tanks are paper.  The distance between tanks ain't like 279e compared to most of the crap tier X's right now.

3/ Credit expenses at lower tiers aren't such pain in the butt like the higher tiers.

Those 3 points imo are driving people to leave the game. +2/-2 is painful when new player reaches tier 4 and 5. There are few tanks from 4 to 8 tier that can handle the +2 gap, most are trash being bottom tiered. Add modules research to that and a person is already looking for another game, because we live in impatient world.

You've got 21k battles. Doesn't that make you one of the clubbers?

Where i stated that i am not in that case? If i could i would even buy B2  so i can be top tier without losing credits like in tier X.

The experience is gathered by how easy red players can kill me, or how easy they deal with better players (stats wise) than me.

One of the good ones - yes.

There are many in that category, just open older topics such as people asking for good tier 2 and tier 3 tanks.

- Pz 1 c

- Cruisers with HE or Pom-Pom guns

- Chech tier 3 auto-loader

- A lot of good german tier 3 tanks

- T-127 and Tetrarch

- T2 Light

- Fcm Pak

- tier 2 TD's with 70 dmg, amazing camo and 90+ pen, which can deal with all tier 3's...

Etc.

The gap between tanks at those tiers ain't that big as you might think. And even with stronger tank you can be easily being wolves-packed in a 4-15 game in less than 2 minutes fashion.

Tier 4 got some non-premium monsters too.

P.s. And you don't realise that the Pz S35 is costing almost nothing in the shop. No need to wait for christmas event or pay ridiculous amount of money. So everyone can have it. It's not something few of us have. I meet a lot of them at those tiers, and they are easily penetretable with less than 50 pen.

I can't believe I did this for a tier 3.

It's so OP that when you add a player like you in it, it's not seal clubbing, it's tomato genocide.

And somehow this is good for the game for new players to meet you?

why would I spend gold or money for a S35 when the Pz38(t) is available in the tech tree?

+2/-2 is a joke

+0/-0 is brill, and once you add in stuff like arty consumables respawning and repair points you get the magic of Frontline

The main reason upper tiers have +2/-2 is that tier 9 and 10 would fall apart if they didn't have tier 8s to farm for bonus credits

Most players would quit or hugely reduce gameplay at 9 and 10 if they stopped meeting tier 8s

Tier 8s are independent and self sustaining and have no need to play lower tiers

Tier 9 and 10 are ponzi scheme tiers and unsustainable, they need to parasite upon tier 8 hosts or they are finished

Are you sure? because to me it sounds a lot more like you are using an overpowered tank with presumably a good crew and your prior knowledge of the game to club a lot of new guys.

How does that help prevent players wanting to leave the game?

Meh even quite early on I found the lower tiers no fun.

The tanks and players suck big time down there and I only really play T5 or higher.

It's more the tanks than the players however as lower tier stuff tends to be slow, has no armour and derpy guns.

Low tiers are crapbecause the tanks are crap. Gun handling, armor, speed, viewrange are all a dumpster fire, while at the same time the DPM-to-HP ratio means anyone who moves gets melted away by the campers.

There are huge amounts of bot-like players and sealclubbers make me throw up in my mouth a little. I would split the tier 1-5 playerbase in <3k and >3k battles accounts so the sealclubbers are segregated unless they go through the pain of grinding a new account.

A global rebalance is also needed to make low tiers a more enjoyable gaming experience like the high tiers

I just play tier 6,7 or 8 to come to the same conclusion. The only tier that is truly broken is T10, but has stated this has infringed onto tiers 9 and 8 due to the +2. The only way I can think they could fix it would be to introduce T11 and move the offenders up a tier obj430u, bobject, Super Conq, perhaps Maus and most of the "reward" tanks.

Having started playing again with the Swedish trees, I can't wait to get out of lower tiers. The matches aren't terrible, the tanks aren't horrific (with some exceptions) but the players ... obviously a lot of them are new players but the number of experienced players who don't seem to know which end of their tank is the front is ridiculous. I'm an advocate of playing whatever you enjoy but even I've been wondering how some of these guys derive any pleasure from the game.

There needs to be player battle limits imposed on all tiers below 6, maybe even 7.

If you have >2k battles, you should not be able to meet players with <2k battles under tier 2.

If you have >4k battles, you should not be able to meet players with <4k battles under tier 3.

etc...

Sealclubbers are likely one of it not the biggest causes of new players not progressing, and giving up on the game. It is beyond stupid to put a player with 20k games and 4+ crew skills into a matchup where the majority of players have only played a couple of thousand of games.

I won't even touch on tanks like the T67, M2 Light, Pz.B2 etc. which are in themselves just as big factors.

Well to me, lower tiers, specially tier 5 and below is super super broken.

Derp guns that can easily one shot you, machine guns like pc 1 c that easily take away half of your HP and destroy every module in your tank. Yeah armor is not a problem, it's the stupid guns at that tier. And some tanks like Fcm with ridiculous view range that can out spot anything. I play a game every now and then at that tier, but unless you are in one of the OP tanks, I highly doubt it is any fun at all.

for the purpose of this thread, "fun" and "OP" are interchangeable terms when relative to tanks.

it's no surprise that winning and roflstomping other tanks is fun. the more OP, the more fun.
