If you have a campaign mission to do tracking damage its hard enough - BUT when your whole team is trying to do it - Its a nightmare.
Come on WG who designs the missions so that everyone on the battlefield is trying NOT to damage the enemy tanks but just track them ?
Its a combat game for goodness sake !
I have been in battles tracked enemies and my team has waited until the track is fixed then tracked them instead of trying to kill them!
Its stupid but the sheep are all following WG's lead.
I noticed too that stunning takes precedence over tracking for arty - but it was not always so....
Just another attempt to drive us all to playing Tier X heavies....

The game give us the stun assist but not track assist because stun is more effective !!!

Skoda T50 and E-50 with 240 alpha gun works well with this. Just got to sacrifice some damage for a few games, keep immobilizing enemies and be patient.
At 9.5k tracking damage after about 2 hours of gameplay. It's a poorly designed mission for gameplay overall though.

Progress on this mission is so slow that I've effectively ignored it.
WG need to do better if they want engagement from their players.

The rewards for the 2nd and 3rd parts will probably keep me going.
But i really hate his 10k track-assist-marathon.
As others have said here - poorly designed mission, bad idea, &§%%!§!!! - pick one. ![]()

Really WG this has to be the stupidist mission condition ever !
10,000 tracking damage - means ...
Instead of shooting tanks to damage them and kill them I have to shoot their tracks and hope someone else shoots them.
It is playing to LOSE its stupid.
How many games could I have destroyed half the enemy team - BUT that would do nothing for this mission ?
Not only that , half of my teams are doing the same thing - no one wants to damage the enemy , madness !!!

10k tracking damage ..... please, it's insane to do it.
And once that is over, the final stretch is 10k base xp (about 40-50k general xp), over the week-end.
I tried to do it, i grinded 50k XP on KV-4 and 25k XP (playing stock with the crappy IS gun) on the ST-I .... and i only did 2.2k tracked damage, it's insane.
And i am spamming HE on that bad ST-I gun, aiming for tracks.
Do you guys even play this game ?

I want to say something else, and maybe it will resonate with someone at WG HQ, though let's face it, us EU players are 'whiners'.
Your entire game is based on the premise of aggravating the players into paying, through microtransactions skinning them.
But you would think that a company that rakes in the kind of $ that you take, could afford a proper website, but noooooo, you still have a server that can't handle 1k ppl redeeming the Tog code (given on stream by QB) at the same time, forcing us to be stuck there spamming the button hoping we get it.
And then the missions, 25k combat xp, what an amazing haul, especially when you grind something as bad as the ST-I stock (or any other tank that is bad stock), only it's behind a very aggravating mission.
You like to have a good marketing department, why don't you go and ask them how it feels to have the rug pulled from under your feet when you have alloted time to play .... denied.
Though nothing was promised, it feels like something was taken away.
I think i need to take a break from your game, i love the game .... i just don't like you, and the way you behave towards me, the consumer.
PS: I know you don't do it on purpose WG, i know it's incompetence, but that is not something that will make me feel better.

So stun overrides track. Don't think I'll have any use of this knowledge but it's interesting nonetheless.

Whoever set the option of tracking damage, did not actually playtest it. The tracking damage is easily either super luck dependent, or can take as much as the other two missions put together.... this is easily the worst mission ive seen of any of the grindy ones that aren't campaign missions with impossible odds...

And the worst fact is, that nobody hit your tracked target, because they want the same f..ckin tracking damage, so every enemy targets are on permatrack, getting no damage, you get no tracking damage and just lose lose battles because of this stupid mission.

I only completed the first stage last night despite playing every day.
Tracking shots either do no damage so is counter productive or it damages the enemy anyway.
I chose to play normally rather than farm stupidly...
