I saw this short film and thought anyone who hasn't seen it might have an interest.

"The astounding story of one young Red Army lieutenant and five KV-1 tanks that made a last stand against the German 6th Panzer Division outside Leningrad in 1941"

Watched it, thanks

Although I'm now not as "in awe" as I previously was. Just RU bias in RL.

Looking at that KV-1 side full of bounced shell scratch, I couldn't stop myself of think: "Damn son, that was a fine angling!".

I knew the story but, as an armour usage fan, I like to listen at it like a child! :)

KV-1 was actually pretty damn good tank at the time in real life, even by Western standards. Not only did it have great armor, but also decent gun.

so... Kolobanov was a sealclubber !

KV-1 vs. tier 2 and tier 3 tanks with 37 mm guns, lol

Agree with this.  His delivery and style is really good.  No sensationalism and interesting stories well told.
