I mean it's "ok", the gun accuracy and pen are nice.

But the rest of the package is poor.


It's slow, has no armour, meh view range, has poor gun depression and poor alpha.

Would have saved my money, if you must have a mid tier British Med then wait for the Bromwell rather than this...

It's a Firefly with slightly better gun stats and slightly worse mobility. I'm sure someone will be into it but that someone ain't me.

As the regular Firefly is already a thoroughly underwhelming tank that has no redeeming features apart from nice penetration, the premium one with marginally better stats won't be worth it either.

I have Firefly VC.

 

Short review: It's crap. On top of that, tank makes hardly any credits because shells are expensive and for some reason it has super low credit multiplier.

If you got gold lying around get the Ac Exp. faster top speed and has -10 gun depression and smaller profile than the VC and same gun or get a Bromwell.

Would happily buy this as I like the firefly, my problem is that its not a firefly.

It would have been so very easy to produce a straight copy of the standard in game firefly give it a unique finish perhaps a famous crew.

 

Nope too easy.

How about we produce a premium firefly that's worse than the standard firefly but fudge things so it appears better.

eg the firefly can reach 36kph but the Premium can do 40.2

The premium version is a little lighter by 76kg  but its got a smaller engine and so a worse specific power.

But you cannot know that unless you check

I have the AC4 Experimental which the game still claims it can do 60 yet in practical terms it cannot its no faster than the Premium Firefly.

36 mostly if you drive on the flat for long enough you could in some games reach 43 maybe 45 but I have never got anywhere near 60

 

So please WG when you make claims for armour and speed don't give stats that are likely to mislead.

If the frontal armour of a tank is mostly 50mm but has one spot thats 100mm do not advertise it as having 100mm of armour.

A tanks top speed is the speed it can reasonably reach fairly quickly on the flat not what it might eventually reach if it drove in a straight line across the entire map.

Though I doubt the AC4 could reach 60 if it drove all the way accross the Front Line map

Want to buy, nice looking tank and all that, but  know its gonna be a let own and probably not very competetive unfortunately, sry WG, not this time

Looks like WG changed the coupon settings and it was available with the discount, and picked it up. Disappointing that Joe Ekins is not a crew member. As this is a specific tank, like Thunderbolt VII it would be nice if it had the proper crew in it.

Bought it. For some reason I like the quirky, historical midtier tanks. I've 3-marked the regular Firefly and I enjoyed it a lot, although it is not a great tank.

Well, I bought the AC Exp. It is to slow and to fragile, I don't enjoy playing it. I liked the Firefly way more, it's a better tank. The Firefly has crappy topspeed, but is overall way more mobile than the AC exp.
