So yes its a firefly just not the same model of firefly in the game, since there were 2 models made.

So the none premium is a IC based on the M4 Sherman and the premium is based on the M4A4 and is a VC

Its similar to the M4 Improved premium that came out a while back while it is improved in almost every way but its got a worse gun, only in this case its got a worse Engine.

 

So yes its a Firefly but a different version and again unless you do some research you cannot know that.

Standard tanks come with upgrades Premiums do not, old premiums used to be not quite stock but not quite fully upgraded versions of tanks.

They also usually had preferential matchmaking.

I thought those days were over and personally I don't see why the Premium Firefly cannot have the 460hp engine

 

As for the AC4 Experimental that had a 397 hp engine but the in game version has a 330 and just don't get me started on the ELC AMX bis the actual tank has a 250hp engine as did the in game version.

Now it has a 130hp engine because well who knows wasn't nerfing the gun enough couldn't have been its speed or could it ?

That is true when it comes to tank that has existed IRL. But whatabout all the tanks that never existed except on paper, like eg. the whole French TD tree?
