.... I noticed no BIA crew.

I thought for sure this would be France's chance at their first BIA crew you could buy.

I guess I'll keep waiting.

It is quite a dull premium, aside the historical camo its a copy pasta tank with nothing different going for it.

Its just a tech tree job for cash

I don't think it even has different soft stats, like the cromwell B

It's a Pudel with different paint. Still, could be worse - anyone else remember when premium tanks only came with a 50% crew?

Get a Panther Warcrime instead (M10), if you really must Prem Panther.

It has Pref MM so will essentially see the same MM as French Panther.

Plus it has way more HP than the T6 one.

It's in fact even worse in the hp/t department :O

In the same price point there is the AC 4 Experimental, which has the 17 pounder that kicks like a mule. :D

yeah very weird.. it weights more, with 5mm less armor on the front. the rest is copy/paste armor-wise. most of the other stats are exactly the same as VK 3002 M.

Direct comparison to Pudel: https://tanks.gg/compare/pudel?t=bret-panther

TL;DR: Only differences:

Pudel/BretPanther ammo capacity - 81/79

Potential damage - 10,935/10,665

Weight - 44,235/45,500

hp/t - 15,82/15,38

Hull armor F-S-B - 85-50-40/80-40-40

So it's overall slightly worse than the Pudel... 40mm instead of 50mm of side armor are gonna be a pain against soviet 122mm guns. I'd advise against fighting tanks with large guns, find a better target instead.

Actually, it's a slightly worse Pudel. Same gun stats and dpm etc. But less frontal armor, less side armor. And still, it's heavier and with less power to weight with the same engine. And a bit worse base camo ratings.

So if you own the Pudel and don't like that. You won't like this either I suspect.

What is WG's logic in releasing weaker copy paste tanks lol..

I own the Pudel and do like it but I also liked the VK 30.02 (M). I don't see any point in buying the French version. In the past I would have liked the option to train my French medium crews in a mid-tier premium but since we now have crew books ... bof.

I bought it, I dont own a pudel or have a french med crew trainer or even a french med crew :) it plays very like the m10. Its usable, not played at this level for a while... leaf blower just did 400 dmg in one shot, that 50mm side armour...

Buying the Brat Panther would probably be the least well spent 12€ I could think of atm. Worse than Pudel and the tech tree VK, training ill suited French crew members at a tier that constantly meets tier VIII, again. So, yeah, no.

Well, considering that premium tanks that are better than their TT counterparts may be viewed as pay-to-win, releasing a weaker premium (which earns more XP and credits, not to mention doesn't require crew retraining) may be acceptable.

Wait untill they release a Russian premium Panther.

It will probably have some extra Stalinium armour plates welded on and modified with a 122mm gun

I bought this too. I've a soft spot for T7 tanks downgraded a tier with a premium bonus.

I only wish they'd given it a unique selling point. Only four crew or a fanatical crew will boosted BIA (or something like that). As already stated it's only real difference is that it's not as good as the Pudel which I also have and have thoroughly enjoyed.

EBR had a BiA-crew when there was a marathon for it.

I bought it as a trainer for my Somua S35, in which reside Misses Snow, White and Winter.
