Please dont misunderstand when reading - there are some really good players, but these players dont need to rage, they take the good with the bad show maturity and just play the next game. They never say much either..They know a random battle is just that and any player of any level can play, its not a competition it isnt for money its for fun..They know if they want a serious game there are clans with events.

However, just recently there seems to be an influx of "know it alls". Players who are not really good in real life. They show no respect to anyone and use terms like Mongol, retard, idiot, ***,***,********** and even *** *** sideways *** twice with *** !!

Some langauge is pretty bad and I will not repeat the racist slurs and racism has no place except a player report - of which WG says they might look at (I thought racism was serious)

Anyways, I play the game for fun, I do the best I can with the basic tanks I have, but pretty much the last week there seems to be brilliant tank commanders. They can do no wrong as it is everyone elses fault - even if you are the biggest damage dealer or wipe out waves of enemies.

These specialists seem to come in three types..

First type - I'll call them "Salty Sergeant" just ranked from a "Crappy Corporal" they rush in die in the first wave then proceed to tell everyone its their fault and continually click on the map spamming the chat. They usually do little or no damage.

Second type - We'll call them "Back end Brigadiers", these sit in spawn and do nothing so everyone is a head of them. They usually snipe regardless of vehicle and then moan and [edited]if they get clipped. Of course if the match is lost or they die they then take it to chat blaming players as bots and being useless.

Last type - "Private prats" they are somewhere between type 1 and 2 above. They never see the battle and only watch the map and the attack logs. If you die they'll slate you even though they cannot see the 4 or 5 tanks attacking you while they hide just outside of spawn or behind a line of allied tanks.

All of these types, if you interact with them, then continue in the garage telling you how bad you were and how great they are EVEN when they were truly awful.

Anyone else notice this ? Is this due to the hot summer weather ?

Just ignore them, those sort have been around since the beginning. If they continue in garage, just screen shot it and send it to support and they'll get a short ban. If they do contact you in the garage after a battle, my favorite line is..."Do you always cry after battles?" and keep it going and clean(remembering you need the screenshot for support), ask them would they like a tissue or a hug, etc....and watch that rage build, don't change or deviate from the crying theme, you may get them to a hefty ban.;)

My average damage is less, it was higher, then I decided to do all tanks - I now have completed every level tank upto tier 6. Every root every tree. That REALLY damaged my average.

I am too tired to read all of this but I tell you one thing. Almost all video games have a super horrible player base, I mean I am bad at video games. I mean like it takes me couple seconds at least to just realize what's going on, that's why I always sucked at FPS games and I don't consider myself good at WoT either. But imagine what these population is that they're even worse than me. And comparing WoT to other games, say FPS games where you really need lots of skill and fast reactions to be great, WoT is quite an easy game to play. And when I say so many people are beyond horrible, so bad I can't even find the proper word to describe them, I'd say it's understandable why some people rage.

I don't support or condone their attitude but all I can say is that it's understandable, so just give them a break, or if it's too much for you just disable chat altogether. You never get anything useful out of it anyway.

I've been playing a long time, but I haven't completed many lines even up to T6. That to me sounds like a painful thing to do and would not be fun for me.

I discovered long ago that there is no end game, so no need to rush, and it's better to concentrate on one or two lines at a time and get to know some tanks better, rather than scatter-gunning all over the tech tree.

I did notice the amount of friendly chat decreased a lot last year. In the past very often some players started with gl&hf or similar, now thats pretty rare. If I start with gl, there is little to no response as well.

Doing all tanks to tier 6 is mind numbing and considering the levels 1,2 and 3 do 15-35 damage you can imagine.

I'll play the heavies this week and build my average back up if this is important..

I'm also not the one here complaining that people call me names when my performances are below average to the point of actually costing my teams games. Can't see how that's delusional.

My advice to the OP is to drop down some tiers and better learn the game mechanics, averaging 400 wn8 with an average tier played above VI is not exactly going to draw the best responses from team mates now is it?

Also, maybe you missed the point where the OP complained about the way others play, when barely being able to ever cause his own tanks HP worth of damage?

Hey, my probation officer said this game would be good for me, and stop me judging people when I know nothing about them as some sort of coping mechanism

Did you know that it's a rule of WoT that the ONLY player who plays for fun is yourself.

I'd turn on the aircon, and tilt your head to the right. It will allow that chip on your shoulder to slide off.

It's a team game, with the capability to interact with your team. When you pick a tank that's got a decent number of games but <50% winrate do you for one second consider the other 14 players you're going to inflict yourself upon?

This is absolutely wrong.

Playing every tank from each tech tree from a certain tier not only teaches you what that tank is capable of, but also what weaknesses it has. This means you'll know how to deal with them better.

If you just play one line to tier 10, playing against tanks you don't know almost anything about, is why so many players go and shout HAX when they die in a fancy new way...

I remember back when I played the FV304, people telling me to fall back because I'm an arty, wondering what the hell I'm doing so far forward. Then I tell them I have 600m range and they don't believe me and TK me...

Progress through the tiers at a steady pace, play everything, and you'll know much more about each tank.

My first tier 10 was researched at ~20k battles...maybe even more. I have every single line in the game researched to at least tier 8, apart from the new french wheelies (tier 6 atm).

While these stereotypes do exist, i somehow doubt you could actually identify them during a battle. If you could you would have more than 50% winrate.

I've seen players like you all the time, trust me. They have no clue how to play, so they usually camp in the back or 2nd line(because they learned pushing doesn't work, because they are not good enough to use cqc tactics). And then they "analyze" the situation and express themselves upon the team, usually in an aggressive manner but there are exceptions.

Whenever i see this i literally lol since a player with 45% winrate has absolutely no clue how the game works, and whatever comes out of his mouth that is game mechanic related is total [edited].

Have you ever thought that one of those guys who raged in garage at you died because he relied on your basic help, but you were too busy "assessing the situation" aka watching the scenery?

Yesterday i had a game with a friendly full hp conq, a 800 hp t10 vs a 1.5k hp stock e-75. The latter was completely alone. I can understand the t-10, but the conqueror was absolutely disabled for not pushing and murdering him(they were literally sitting and watching each other behind a 50m corner).

Ofc i had to turn around in my tortoise, drive 300 meters so i could take care of the e-75. Even when i started fighting him, the guys wouldn't shoot him. I killed him by myself. And while doing that, an enemy conqueror came in my [edited], and those two muppets kept looking at the e-75 through the rock(since they had no line of sight). I died because i got flanked and artied. It was obviously a defeat, when it should have been an easy win.

After the battle i simply told the friendly conq(who had 500 dmg btw) he is disabled for not winning a 2v1 and his reply was "cry;)". I started making fun of him a bit, and his reply was the same. Called him a bot, same reply. By the third time it hit me that he is actually disabled, or a true botting algorithm, not that it would matter which one, since on the battlefield you can treat them the same.
