This seems like traditional special now. Whole week events are good for everyone, specialy for these who grinds tanks...

it would be better if you can get those 10000 XP for any tank after you complete the last mission. I need it for grinding underperforming tanks and I doubt I will be often in top 5 in Sturer Emil.

Just keep the last battle of the last mission for the St. Emil ... and try to play good, sooner or later you will have a battle in which you will be 5th (win is not necessary).

It would be even better to not grind sturer emil at all, what comes after is not worth the pain. Speaking from experience.
