My Cromwell B only has level 2 mastery but a 62.5% winrate. On the other hand, my LeFH105B2 has Ace Tanker level mastery and 10 times high caliber with 46.5% winrate and my Hummel has also Ace Tanker level mastery and 3 times high caliber with 47.8% winrate. Should I be smiling or should I be laughing when there are 3 SPGs per side in a battle?

You forgot to post battle count, so

Cromwell B - 35 battles

Hummel - 391 battles

Leafblower - 570 battles

Instead of contemplating about emotional responses to an arcade game, you should play another 300-500 battles in Bromwell to get relevant sample so you will be able to compare apples to apples.

Ok, Pz IIIJ with 305 battles, 1st class only, 55.7% winrate. For sure I don't have any tanks that I have played so many battles as the LeFH105B2 and the Hummel with such high stats and low winrates. Both have a mark of excellence on their barrels, so they are better than 65% of all players who play them. That's rather remarkable, don't you think? How do the worse players do in them?

I want 14 SPG per side!

Smile if you have one supporting your flank. Laugh if you have two or three raining shells on anything you spot. And don't forget to keep wiggling, shuffling, twisting and doing other funky dancemoves.

the irony of one arty player being 65 per cent better than another. I took a dump yesterday that was twice as big as today's.

There's comparing apples with apples for you.

"There's comparing apples with apples for you."

is that a literal apple comparison?  did you eat bigger apples on one day and smaller ones the next.  or did you eat more apples of the same size.    assuming fibre content is consistent per volume consumed that is.

Mastery badges have little to do with winrate, or to some extent even relatively good wn8.

You could play good games all your (WoT-)life and never get ace tanker with a tank that has high requirements.

Then again you might be 43% player, play one game and have all the pieces fall on the right spots and score an ace.

I had way over 100 games in my Cromwell before scoring my first ace with it. And that's the standard one. Back then the B's were a bit more rare than they are now, though.

Actually my LeFH is better than 67% of other LeFH players, based on its mark of excellence rating, and the Hummel better than 79% other players. Whereas my Cromwell B and Pz IIIJ are totally average based on any sort of rating. What this tells me is that you put your team at a disadvantage just by choosing an SPG to play with.

So the more SPGs in a battle, the higher the chances you will win, even in an average tank.
