The developers should really make the grinding easier, the tanks and the equipment are too expensive, the equipment items are 500,000 credits and the tanks are even more expensive, even the tier 5 tanks need around 15,000 experience and around 400,000 credits and you only get around 1,000 credits and around 100 experience in every match so if you play 10 matches in one day it takes you a week or more to research one tank and to get one equipment item that is stupid, and you only get the boosters when you finish a mission so the developers really need to do something to make the grinding easier, this is a free to play game

Why do you mount equipment on grind tanks? And what magic trick you have to get 1k net credits, spamming gold much? Even bot program should do more creds per match.

Edit: no use guessing and so forth, put up a replay where this happens to wotreplays and let's see what can be done. I'm lousy player but I still can do more on med tiers.

Grinding is easy now. So many boosters makes XP easy. Missions etc and free tier 8 premiums. Frontlines allows you to play tier 8 premiums for hours if it floats your boat. I actually think they've made it too easy. Still, who am I to complain?

You're right about one thing: this is a free to play game, meaning it's in the dev's interest to put as many hurdles on your path as possible in order to tempt you to spend some money.

100 XP per match sounds like what you get if you don't fire and move just enough to avoid getting hit with the 0 credits and XP award for being AFK the entire battle however, so I suspect your progress isn't just hampered by WG's decisions regarding game design.

if you are getting that low ammount of creds/xp one should start wondering if it is just the player not contributing at all in the game and thus rewarded that low and not the game being at fault

being any kind of productive ingame should be like 400-500 xp already on average, and then you still have the boosters/dailies that add up ontop of that

They did make the grinding easier. It rains free stuff these days, as well as loads of specials, missions, you name it. I guess you didn't actually play in 2013, when grinding was actually a lot worse.

Grinding has become 2000% easier already.

Stick with it and the credits will come easier.

Also always buy stuff on discount. When you buy for example equipment at 50% off, and you sell the tank after grinding with the equipment still on it, you get 50% of the full value back, making it essentially free.

Basically you need some credits in reserve to make credits... l

Grinding is much easier now but getting credits is pretty much as it used to be. It helps that they have given us free premium tanks though but income from battles hasn't changed and discounts on tanks at least seems much rarer.

To OP, one way to make credits is to sell every premium consumable they throw at us and especially not to put equipment on low tier grind tanks like you seem to do.

Grinding is easy. Getting a good results needs more than just YOLO/AFK/Botting.

As there are no real goals to the game there is only the grind as an objective and to be fair it does need to be slower to progress.

You even get free consumables to sell frequently now with the Rewards for Merit system (which seems to mean you just randomly play games until the lock breaks) :)

Sell those consumables for 10k each if you don't use them and it add up

1000 credits and 100 XP pr match? How do you even play?

Credits = damage. You do enough damage, you get a nice profit, unless you spam gold and miss or bounce over half your shots. As shots that do nothing is credits lost, not credits gained. XP is a different matter. As a good player might need 60 ish games to elite a mid-tier. Average Joe about 100. And a really bad player about 150 to 200. If you lose often and don't get much done. It will take longer as you get less XP pr game. So if you do your part. It won't take ages.

And yes this is a f2p game. But then again we don't want new players with 0K games to get to tier X instantly either do we?

you like grinding? you will be doing a lot of it soon. How about grinding a line fully six times to get an aprox 20% better tank?

I only use AP and HE ammo, and I only play standard random battles, and you get boosters only in missions and completing one mission also takes a long time and the boosters also don't really help if you lose 70% of the matches because the opponents are shooting gold and half of your team get's killed in the first 2-3 minutes, even with boosters you get around 150 experience and 1500-2000 credits

Grinding now is way easier and faster than it used to be.

Don't worry about grinding till you get to tier 5 or 6.

Equipment you can win just by playing These Blueprints they added to the game can shorten grinds but part of the upgrade is that you get  regular rewards of Credits equipment consumables and the blueprints.

I get a couple of these each day I play, have been given 10 and 25k credits optics binoculars camo nets food crew books and blueprints.

Sign up for the Personal missions you can get millions in credits there and the starting ones are very easy.

Always buy when there is a sale on.

When you can afford some equipment and its on sale buy some even if currently you have no need for it,

Build up a stock of equipment and consumables, you can do this by playing at tier 5 and 6 where you nearly always mace credits.

both teams shoot gold, nothing special. besides you been only playing paper ish tanks recently, even with normal ammo you would be penned alot

way more a bad playstyle thing than putting the blame on gold, go with allies to frontline and try do some dmg. with things like IS you can easely slap someone for 390 close on while you take way less (assuming top tier ofc), fall back to save spot and repeat. with things like su85 just abuse camo mechanics as the base camo is great already, double bush/fall back till the bush stops being transparant and then shoot, wont get spotted while you can farm enemies, even fairly close on. learn better positions and use your tank to better potentials

My 6 yr old son plays the odd game occasionally and even he gets more than 100 xp and 1k credits. I call BS on this post!
