I noticed WG has made alot of badges for achivements ingame or youtubevideos etc. I think the should make badges for forumpost. That would be fun an revitalize forums.

A badge for foumites would be cool, yeah.

Not sure why you decided to add nonsense to it. All you've done it ensure it gets locked

They removed the upvote/downvote scoring system to reduce toxicity on the forum so I don't see them introducing something else that can be farmed by spamming "remove arty" and "broken MM" threads. :sceptic:

How would that achieve anything? Even if people pay attention to in-game badges, you expect them to recognise one that is awarded for something forum-related, and to think to themselves "Man, I want that completely meaningless badge, I better spend some time creating quality posts on the forum!"? Because I doubt many people give a damn about badges, fewer still would know a badge is forum-related, and even if someone feels inspired to get that badge for himself he'll do it by spamming sh'tposts in rapid succession.

Feel free to enlighten me with your particular brand of logic.

Trying to get marks is still playing the game though, which people would be doing anyway. It's a different matter to suddenly become active on a forum. Especially one that, as you put it, is apparently stale and in need of revitalisation, as first impressions matter.

A badge? To do what with?

I simply cannot get my head around why this is a thing.

Sorry.

Seems someone wants to be hunted by our local Forumite Assassin.

What OP wants is already ingame through a mod (The Forumite Mod). People who post alot get a nice orange F next to their name. If you're a Dinger however, you get the nooby face next to your name. Reason for this is our abundance on the forums. No other clan houses that many forumposters.

That may be so, but no other clan has my clan's post average.

You really don't want to be in a clan of 1 though do you.

You really want to draw a fish.

As the bandit chief says in The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, "We don't need no badges"

The pleasure of a job well done is recompense enough

We need only one to find it's way to game, and that's QPRanger approves.

I nearly started one of my..."When I worked in …." stories but managed to stop and have a nice cup of tea and a custard cream.
