As I'm quite a bad player but, like most people, would rather win than lose, my only real skill here is finding effective seal clubbing tanks.

We all know what the obvious choices are (Matilda, Hetzer, etc)  but does anyone have thoughts on less well know clubbing tanks (up to tier V) that work well?

My own suggestions would be:

  • T1 Heavy (seems to work better in all respects than the better known KV1)
  • DW2 (okay armour, amazing gun which will pen an OI using apcr, preferential match-making)
  • Somua S35 (almost impenetrable to PzIC fire, amazing gun)
  • LTP (dunno why, just seems to work)
  • PzKw IID (needs a full gold ammo load)

And, surprisingly good, the SU-85B

B2 and Valentine II, are my goto seal-clubs. Pz II Ausf J, occasionally, but it's dear to run.

Not that I seal-club.  :hiding:

My personal favourites ...

  • Pz. IV H or Sherman M4 with 105mm derp - one-shot kills possible when top tier, still useful for tracking and harassment when bottom
  • Marder 38T - great DPM
  • Valentine II - buy on Valentine's Day with 75% discount, great armour, can return a profit with a full gold loadout
  • M22 Locust - much like the LTP
  • Alecto - great choice of guns, I like it with the 25-pdr, the 3" howitzer is also good and you can throw on the little 6-pdr for pew-pew fun, great camo and reasonably mobile
  • P26/40 - HE on the top gun has 70mm penetration
  • Lago - with the 57mm gun it's a tier IV T-34 with 10° depression
  • LT vz. 38 - Czech version of the Ke-Ho

KV-1 with the 57mm is a clubbing tool, especially if you go full gold for mindless spam.

Although a T-34 with the 57mm is the better clubber if you like that sort of thing...

T1 heavy is a new one. And the PzKw IID.

One underestimated tank is the Pz III/IV or if it is Pz IV/III  (the tech tree tank).

Alecto is a nice tank imo.

And I think the Czech T2 or T3 (the tank with a clip) is also interesting.

tier 3: Pz 38t

tier 4: StuG IIIB (= Hetzer with mobility, viewrange and 28 shells instead of 23)

See, when I read 'Clubbing suggestions' as a forum thread, I assumed this was going to be a thread about etiquette in the nightclub scene. I'm actually disappointed it's about tanks tbh. Pfft.

Drummond doesn't need any advice for the nightclub scene, especially Marine Disco.

I was merely going to suggest he takes a handbag with him, puts it in the middle of the dancefloor, and moves around it in the awesomely splendid 'robot' style. That's still a thing, right?

A good rule of thumb is always to have heels longer than your skirt.  Gets attention.  But back to tanks.

Re Sharian's PzIC suggestion, I like clubbers that are immune to its MG fire.  The tier 3 Somua S35 takes it down easily.
