I always hated grinding tanks up to tier 6, but with these two recent premiums I hate it even more. In my experience every other battle is decided by one of these two premiums blasting through the remaining tanks without even revealing themselves. I don't know if their stats are so great or if people just stick their veteran crews on them, so they have like 3 perks advantage on the rest, but I can't wait for this fad to end.

T78 is a new premium you have to buy, not rewarded. Like all new premiums, it will die out soon enough.

M10 tho is a different matter, that was given free to most. And is the only premium tank for a fair few. Like the T-34-85M, it will remain a common sight.

You can't really believe that M10 is OP. T67 is way way more powerful than M10. And as for T78, I can't really talk about it. I have played only 1 T6 battle and it didn't have any T78s but the combination of turret and great pen and alpha and mobility and gun depression makes it too good to be true. WG is really desperate for money. Power creep is going to a whole new level apparently. Soon we'll probably have T8 heavies with 490 alpha and 250 standard pen with 300 mm armor that can rape T10 tanks.

I remember 5 years ago we were joking on this forum that WG was going to give an autoloader to the IS-3 or IS-7 and how broken this would be.

Lo an behold, we got the IS-3A. :)

I'm gutted about the French m10 as Wolverine has long been one of my fave warm-up / relaxation tanks.

I have the premium thing, but haven't played it yet - faffed about with crews between wolv, t67 and freshly rebought hellkitty.

Claus Keller an really dislikes the premium due to huuuge bloom, so really bad hidden stats so it's bad at aiming reasonably.

I hope to get some time to play with them this week to see which ones I like best

I have a mark of excellence on my M10 RBFM, actually performing better than 75% of all players who own it. I drive it into battle to train my French TD crew. However, I only have a 45% winrate in it after 110 battles, it is my worst performing tank with that many battles under its belt. I think that I may have been a bit unlucky, maybe that's not totally representative, but perhaps we are actually causing our teams to lose by being in them in this tank, rather than win.

Maybe you just had some unlucky coincidences of the opposite sort instead, where a few battles were carried by chance by these tanks.

This was part of the point. T67 may be stronger, but M10 is so ubiquitos, that it often ends up being one of the last tanks and than it seems to dominate

Is there another T78 that I haven't seen yet?

Yesterday I finished grinding the tier VI Swedish medium so you'd think from this thread my games were infested with both these tanks but other than seeing them in the team lists, very few have made any sort of impression. The T78 might be a good tank but so's the Hellcat and the forum isn't full of complaints about that tank.

Like they say, git gud. M10 is just a decent td, and the t78 seems similar to hellcat nothing impressive.

Well like I said my opinion was completely based on paper stats and not experience. I like grinding all tech tree lines in WoT(Except IS-4 line) and I have only 5 tier 7 tanks and on all other lines I'm at tier 8 or 9 or I have finished the grind. And except on 5x events or some other XP event, I rarely play anything below tier 9 I really have no idea what it's like in those tiers. And right before my first comment on this post, I though T78 was a light tank because I only saw the picture and it looked like a light tank, then I checked tanks.gg and saw it was a TD.

Careful, you'll fall off your bike with all that back-pedalling. :D

That is of course entirely possible, as with any impression based on limited observation.

But those games, where my team had 3 or 4 tanks advantage close to the end and yet lost, because one of these TDs was able to shoot everyone from some hidden position, really got stuck in my mind.

But I am done with tier 6 and moved to tier 7, so I am pretty much free of this :)

This m10 pew pew td got better dpm, viewrange and gunhandling than t67. Its bad for the game and ruins tier 5 especially because everyone and his dog got one.

Man, when the hell was the french EnferChat given away free to most? I'm not denying it, i'm just sad i've missed it, it seems...

As for the T78, my most loved tank in this game was and will always be the Hellcat (lotsa bags of schlongs should be sucked by he who decided to nerf it), so i just had to have one. Nothing out of the ordinary tho, it seems like a decently balanced tank, so... yay, good times ahead, i think :)

I still have the hellcat in garage and drive it from time to time.

you have to drive as if you have no reverse gear now :|

Yep, me too. It will never ever leave my garage, until the final uninstall. Yet seeing it nerfed while the M44 abomination is still untouched simply gives the measure of the infinite retardedness of the WG staff.

I've played a decent amount of tier 5/6 lately and I don't think they're nearly as big an issue as OP makes it out to be.

Most of the TD's I play with no armour it's best to park it in a bush with it's arse facing the enemy - get spotted just hit W and get out of there fast.
