Hello,

After playing like a noob for the first two years, I've started to get more serious about playing last year. Both grinding a few lines & a few premiums, I've played my first Frontline in Episode 5 and found I liked it a lot.  Having only 4 tanks (took a T44 FL on loan) for FL, I'm thinking of next episode and what kind of tank to take.  I now have the Centurion 5/1 RACC and I like it a bit better than the Primo Victoria.  I speaking mostly of Premiums because I don't think I can get my Pantera and/or UDES 14 in time for next week…

Been wondering whether a Lansen C (nice Alpha but I didn't see much of them) or a T-44-100 would be worth it, knowing that I'd play in Random as well.  I've been reading a lot of threads but still undecided…

Thanks for advice :)

T44-100 is VERY effective. Progetto is another shout - there are millions of them on FL for a reason ;)

T-44-100 is def the 2nd best med for FL overall right behind the Progetto. And def the best option if you like to play agressive as the attacker. I hate mine for randoms. But I can't wait to take it out when FL starts.

T44 good

Lansen too but needs crew skills to sort wonky gun

Anything mobile does ok in FL

T44-100 is decent at everything, nothing special about it, but nothing bad about it either so makes for a good all-rounder tank.

I bought a Lansen at the weekend and it's quickly become one of my favourite premium tanks. I still agree with what everyone else has said though, the Progetto and T-44-100 are better all-rounders. The Lansen is a support tank - long reload and slightly derpy gun means you have to use its mobility to get to new positions and sometimes play the role of a light, spotting for the team.

The Progetto has burst damage, the T-44-100 has (some) armour and the power of Stalinium. I'd say those two are more forgiving when you make a mistake. The Lansen is a small tank, which while good for concealment, means that every time you take a hit you've got a good chance of losing a module or crew member.

Obviously I haven't had a chance to play the Lansen in FL yet but I'm looking forward to trying it. :)

I have seen that :)  It is not on sale right now though and it seems I missed the Lansen anyway.

Scorpion is T7 though, you might want to use the Skorpion instead, sorry couldn't resist. ;)
