Limit light tanks in frontline

The number of lights in FL is too much and light tanks need to be limited just like with arty. Its impossple to play with my tiger II or defender. If they domt limit the number heavy tanks should at least get one shot ammo with 3000 m/s for lights with 45 secs reload.

Well if they did that, you would come back to complain about all the meds I suspect if you play the Tiger II. As tbh, that's useless vs most things he faces regardless atm.

 

 

Tho tbh... for once I doubt many would object to your suggestion. As there are a fair bit too many 432's around to name one. Just loved grinding the T32 on FL last month getting turret bounces with my amazing 198 pen vs a light.

 

Having a cap or a more balanced lineup pr line would not be the worst idea in the world tbh. As 5 lights rushing B is always fun 30 seconds in when all the defenders are in slow HT's vs agile lights. I want a class equality more then caps tbh. Speed vs speed, clip vs clip etc.

You've got randoms for corridor tanks

 

FL is for proper mobile tank warfare...

 

...and clunky slow tanks are toast without any decent team support

 

edit: Curiously, the Chrysler does not do too bad because it's quite mobile for a heavy

Mommy, Light tanks hit me in my Defender:D

That's the price you pay for playing a tier 8 tank with TX armor. You want WG to feed you poor German tanks to kill in your almighty Defender, then you're in the wrong mode.

Jokes aside, can't blame people. It's huge map and such a pain to play in anything slow.

Stop driving solo in your heavy and complain when you get owned.

 

We finally have a mode with relatively open maps so light vehicles aren't artificially handicapped, if you want to be invulnerable, play randoms in a heavy.

You also get 3 consumables while the light (that needs it) gets 1.

The amount of times I've spawned in a heavy and we blitz the cap and they all race off over the horizon....

 

So off you go.... across the map....yet again

 

5 mins later

 

Nearly there, thank gawd...

 

Then an EBR shoots you up the a$$...

Steves should go back to randoms if they can't handle their heavy tank actually being correctly countered by mobility.

Just load more HE, one or two aimed shots and that LT is a smoking wreck.

 

I've doubled the HE I carry for this reason. :justwait::playing:

There seems to be several on all fronts in this episode, mainly those currently in the summer sale.

 

I did see a Japanese Battle Fortress in one game, which was a novelty - but I've no idea how long they lasted. :unsure:

Tbh... their mobility is not an issue. Even with a bigger map. Nor how many consumables it has. As giving meds 2 and HT's 3 just spammed the messages about arty consumables 3 min into the fight. As now everyone has it vs some.

 

But... when you have 6+ 432's around one cap hulldown playing sniper with more effecitve turret armor then the flat front of the Tiger II's turret. And it bounces more or as much then it does. That's my issue. And why a cap at least on some is not a completely retarded idea.

This point has got to do with Wargaming's atrocious balancing of tanks and their inherent greed causing insane power creep. Be mad at the cause rather than the symptom.

Indeed. And thus why it affects FL in some way and needs to be balanced via it. Black dog is different, as he is balanced for the old MM and not to be top tier. 432 is balanced to be "top tier". And facing a few of those in any HT on FL is not easy. Grouped up or solo, good or bad.
