Would have been better if it was done on an open map where the SPGs were more likely to actually do something.

As time progresses I find that less and less things impress me, even things that are way beyond my own capabilities. Now, if someone managed to obtain a Raider...

I got one the other day. Sherman Jumbo, Highway.

Yeah, go figure. Bottom tier, followed meds, from NE corner and found myself capping while they went city to get farmed. Dealt less than 200 and still got a kill. So much fun.

Scumbag kills are always best kills, now if you managed more than one, even better.

Arty should be buffed to be able counter this threat. As an earlier I post I made about arty should have invis mode this first 60 secs of battle.

Killed 3 arty in 52 seconds... and died himself 14 seconds later...

The teams were so unbalanced that the game was over 15-4 in less than 4 minutes...

Sure, when normal tanks get the same counter against arty for the duration of the game. That would be ok.

Dead arty == good arty

It wasn't the unbalance, it was the fact the enemy team stopped to try to get rid of him (and did) but, meanwhile, his team was taking key positions unopposed and already with an early advantage. Few could recover from that situation.

It's fascinating how 3 dead vehicles can bring about such emotion, in a computer game.

I wonder if it brings lasting comfort.

It is a very nice appetizer, as it is not really about "killing" but doing something special, even if in a virtual way.

It is like this US youtuber, Claus, where the "lasting comfort" comes from doing crazy things, just for the fun of it. Exactly like the OP had great fun doing his speedy run.

I should have been more specific, I completely understand that it was fun and entertaining for the OP when playing that game, my comment was more about people who reply in this post, about some tanks being killed in a battle they didn't participate in themselves, played by players they have likely never encountered on the battlefield.

Is there any lasting comfort for the people who reply in this thread?

I have two, also in G.W Panther and the other in a Grille. Grille also has my only Fadins, shotgunned the last enemy tank in a 1 vs. 1 end battle while he was capping the base in encounter on Erlenberg. One of the Raiders was on Mountain Pass. All of them were way back when, I don't ever expect to get another Raider again.

Funnily enough these are the WoT experiences that have etched into my memory and will probably never be forgotten :)
