It's tier 7 so wouldn't be better compared with IS? KV-1S doesn't exist anymore and was perceived as OP, thus advertising stuff based on an old perception seems pretty much a predatory tactic that has little to do with current state of events.

That day is today! If you are having difficulties playing a tech tree vehicle, may I suggest you use one of the many guides around them from out wonderful community or you perhaps play something that suits your play style most?

Sometimes many people appreciate the comparison to a vehicle players can relate to. Though not the same vehicle the tank does have a very similar play style and feel but doesn't have the stronk element to it!

Agree with eekeeboo, every tank has it's own style and rules to apply.
So for some it is competitive for others not. So stop complaining every time wargamming promotes something.

gee... I have this tank, I enjoy this tank, but would I recomend it? no!

 

it has tier V armor, aims forever and has trouble penetrating stuff with apcr.

So if you want a soviet prem tank buy something else, heck if it's a money issue, the KV 5 is still available.

I would rather play the KV 85 at tier 6 with the 100mm gun.

 

Its more or less the same tank.

Play KV 85 with 100mm and you get higher DPM and some better gun stats than KV 122.

KV 85 has the same armour, but worse mobility and view range.

 

Plus KV 122 is in an inflated priced bundle, so its not worth it.

with armor like that for tier 7 i wouldent buy it ,you have to be a master at side scraping/reverse side scraping to make this tank work..... if it only had better gun handling.....

I wouldn't even play it if I received this tank for free. It might be a little strong for tier 6, but it looks like absolute garbage at tier 7. Plus it stinks to have to pay for what was a tech tree tank in the past.
