I got the Primo back in April for £22. Was just the tank with no other stuff shoved in a bundle... Nice enough but nothing too special about it other than standard APCR. Awful alpha for a T8 however.

 

STG isn't that bad, I have one and it's just a mediocre sniper. Probably a decent credit earner as you have 400 alpha and 212 pen standard.

 

Panther 8.8cm tempts me ever so slightly as I'm playing Panthers right now. However on paper it looks absolutely shocking with barely better stats than the T7 Panther. I'm better off saving my money to FXP the E50 I think I'll enjoy that more.

PV- Good enough, if you want Swede meds, Cent 5/1 is better.
Panter 88- Nope. Just... Nope!
STG- Meh. Not a terrible tank per se, but for ruski medium crews there are T-44-100 and 54 mod 1(crew books too) and if you want a good big alpha med, get M4 Rev.
CdA 105- Unimpressive. Just get a WZ-120-1G FT
D Max- Well it is cheap enough i guess... Not a terrible TD, gets the job done if you want something cheap for first premium.

Oh, and why my coupons don't work on the summer offers all of a sudden? I was looking at the yesterday offers and had the option to use the "Tank rewards" coupon i was given to buy the KV-5, now there is no such option on any of the offers. Why?

Can't remember if the Mod 1 crew fits but STG crew skills fit the Object 140 perfectly whereas the T-44 100 has Situational Awareness NOT on the Commander. 

 

Still the T-44 100 is still miles better even with a slightly misfitting crew and probably snipes better than the STG which is the latter tank's natural role!!

CDA 105: My go to tank for FL, excellent accuracy, APCR std rounds, good camo, good mobility and able to bounce some shots. The WZ-120-1G FT has better frontal armor but accuracy is lets it down over longer ranges such as FL.

 

Panther 8.8: Is fine if you're into vacuum cleaners, because it sucks like an ElectroLux! But if you're looking for a good German tank, look elsewhere. Mobility is underwhelming, and gun handling is outright horrible (very un-german-like).

 

Primo Victoria is also worth picking up, its std APCR round works a treat in FL, makes hitting a speeding EBR or LT432 so much easier, and you'll also land more shots at long ranges compared to most other tier 8 meds. Mobility is good, gun handling also, and as a bonus comes with zero skill BIA crew with unigue voice over for the commander.

I do not see the primo Victoria as a tank only offer? The one with the x5 missions. They say one of the tanks in the above list blablabla. But i do not see him.

I love the way that Wargaming's price of the basic package for the Primo Victoria is only down to £21.52 for me.

Most of the other tier 8 medium premium tanks are priced at around the £23 - £24 mark.

 

So even with 30% off the basic package, because it includes a brothers in arms crew and 10 missions that nobody wants, you are only saving a couple of quid at best against most of the other tier 8 mediums.

All in all i must say, excluding a few good tanks(like the t44-100). The majority of the  sale has been utterly thrash, tons of tanks which went on sale are the absolute bottom tier of what the sale could've been for, panther 8.8 proofs it again. Instead of making money off broken tanks how about Wg wakes up, buff these tanks so they are viable against all the new stuff and THEN does a sale at some point -.-.

 

Either that, or just sell decent tanks instead of this crap
