1) Overpowered Wheelies

2) Poor players not having enough tier 8 tanks to keep playing after they died.

3) Noob/bot players who can't even falling back afther they zones are captured or saving they tanks by holding "not one step" back tactic holding every inch of ground

1. Play for win

2. No team play

3. Holding base until guns are destroyed

Secret 4th option:

4) Failing to realise that frontlines isn't about winning the battle but about getting rank.

You're not supposed to win in Frontline, at all.

To progress you only need to be the best player on your team, regardless of the outcome. Strive for the General rank in each battle, and don't worry about losing. You get the same amount of points whether you win or lose.

After realizing this...it's suddenly no longer frustrating, and you only have yourself to blame for a bad result (and the usual: RNG, lag, etc.).

That is what I said under 1.

This is my copy/paste line in every FL battle:

"My advice is to play for ranks and time, NOT win at all cost. But you do as you like, just remember that we play FL."

...and of course noone listen and everyone insult because "arty said it"...

Just hunt for tanks and farm for damage, it's good fun

Go hard for an objective when time is running out, don't get too hung up on objectives

Be objective about objectives and subjective about subjectives

Glad I could help to bring some clarity

If your goal is points only. And rank. Then sure. Win or lose doesn't matter. If you grind a tier 8 with it. You do want a win. As that win XP bonus vs rank is still a fairly big gap if you win vs lose. That could be a few K XP.

But of late neither wheels or 0K players in FL tanks is the cause for it. I'm still hating the 432 more vs the EBR. But... for me it's.

A: Defending C in a 15 vs 2 to spawn kill for 6 min.

B: Keep pushing for objectives after you push up vs going back to help cap other zones to gain more time when there is less than 3 min left.

C: Defending turret one in a 15 vs 5. And then all 15 push back into D again to look for arty while they flank 2.

Front Line 3 ways to lose the battle

1) Make no attempt to Block the enemy from capturing a Zone or conversely make no attempt to cap a Zone,

2) Lemming train into one area through a choke point guarded by HTs and TDs,

3) Do not pay any attention to the mini map - it's only there to look pretty.

One more...when enemy capture you must enter the cap to decap (stop cap).

If you play FL you're already lost.

Depend on the team and op team tanks. Use wheelies and you get xp and rank fast enough. Reaching General rank is become impossible because must battles now are finish in 10 min before you know and the highest rank I could see was major in the op team.

I only use premiums in FL. I also don't advise using FL to grind standard tanks. It's a much longer battle and it'll be quicker to just enter randoms and try to win there.

FL combined with premiums is a fantastic credit earning mode. Add prem acc and credit boosters and you're looking at 300.000+ profit every game, more if you get a better result.

Have you actually paid attention what gives ranks? It's not the case of 'play LTs/wheelies -> get general'. One has to actually play the objectives to get ranks. So many times you can see LTs with low ranks, because they just don't play the objective and do who knows what instead. Generals are still as easy as they were, you need to know what to do though. Arties were easiest generals and those days are mostly gone now (which is good) and you can see medium/heavy combination mixed with lights reaching the general first.

Because some find it enjoyable and it makes good easy credits. Or they are motivated enough by the rewards to play it. Or they like to play a one tier mode with some tanks they like on tier 8. Reasons are many. In a nutshell, some like it and some don't, nothing wrong with either of them.

I lose credits in just about every game far better in randoms, it's basically dominated by pay to win.

If you lose credits, you're doing something wrong, definitely.

And it's not dominated by pay to win but by premiums, any of them. In that mode pretty much any tier 8 premium can work just fine. Even Mauerbrecher can be used in the city in late stages. One shouldn't though spawn with slow heavies for example on F and expect to do well while driving in the open.

Block Quote

Front Line 3 ways to lose the battle

1- Have your companion reminding you that today is the xth anniversary of whatever - anyway you forgot it and have just 1 h for finding a gift -. or pack.

2- You should never have bet with your friends at the jap restaurant that you can swallow a full spoon of wasabi; and discover the effect in the middle of a battle; not mentioning that you also forgot to buy more toilet paper. You can not buy a gift AND toilet paper, you had to choose...

3- And you ALL know that, when you are locked in the toilets in the middle of very hard work, there is ALWAYS some one ringing at the door requiring your immediate presence for signature; with clean hands please.
