Question for WOT development team - Server settings

This is a question for the WOT developer team, since asking this question through a ticket, I was advised to ask the question on this forum.

 

Question:

- Is it possible for WOT to have differentiated server settings?

   - If so, would it not be in WOT interest to provide the best product for the users/players by gathering data from differentiated servers?

 

The definition of differentiated servers should include/exclude server settings for wheeled vehicles - by having two servers - one with and one without wheeled vehicles - you can gather data from the users/players if they choose to play with/without wheeled vehicles. 

 

There are several threads with people loving or hating these vehicles - they really do split the community.

This thread is not suppose to be another thread whining/cheering for WV - mearly a reach out to WOT developers - since there is no way of getting in contact with them.

How many differentiated servers should we have? Seeing as your complaint is wheeled vehicles, do we need separate servers for people that don't want arty?  What about TD's lights and mediums?  Now lets factor in skill based MM and premium ammo use and lets not forget RNG. Why not throw in a bit of casual xenophobia as well, so servers for where people live.

 

We can better write your proposition.  Dear wargaming, Please can we have 20 or 30 differing servers.  So that the greatest possible selections of peoples dislikes are catered for.  Your mistake is thinking that everybody wants what you do and making a false assumption as to what people consider important.  My above examples are discussed on these forums pretty much every day and you chose to ignore them,  For your proposition to hold validity, all of the above have to discussed and you have to consider on which side of each you come down on.

For games such as Battlefield having multiple servers is effective because each server instance is an individual match with up to 32 players in each.

In WoT this methodology would splinter the player base in a manner which would be damaging to match making and queuing times, with the inevitability of some servers being more popular than others. :)

WG will never implement any feature that splits the playerbase. Doing so would instantly kill the game.
