I've noticed that alot of tier x heavy tank players like to engage in long range shoting and let the light and med for example do the city clearing. The heavy tank player that like to employ their tanks in this role should be able buy a enhanced camo net (just for heavy tanks) as is pretty easy often  to spot them and they get the shitters from the arty. Im hope WG would consider make it.

EDIT; camo net should have 50% camo rating

Bad camo is part of the balancing system

Easy to kill tanks have good camo

Most of the time you will find the exact same gun in an easy to kill tank with GOOD camo

Happy sniping :)

Question:

Are you suggesting this because that is how you play your TX heavy? Or are just being kind and thoughtful to those players that do?

Heavy tanks don't always need a net to redline snipe. Had a game on Saturday, tier 9 Siegfried assault, I was in the Skorp, south spawn and proceeded down to the midline ridge on the red line, next to the tank obstacles to shoot back into the city.  I was joined by a Standard B and when I politely asked him if he had got lost, he replied with a smiley to watch and learn.  Oh the arrogance of heavy drivers!

Well, the skorp had its usual day of mixed RNG, with quite a few shots tunnelling down to China as is their wont, but the red team kept obliging by peeking out to get shot at. The standard B on the other hand just kept smacking them.  We finally moved in together and cleared up the city for a win. I  came out with just over 3.5k , the Standard B nearly 5!

I watched and I learnt: I need to get myself one of these fancy Italian TD's:)

I'm going to agree with the crowd on this one and say no to the Heavy Camo Net.

What's needed are more of the design ideas used on the map Minsk, such as passageways through buildings and under bridges which provide much the same protection and concealment, without providing a buff to Red Line Campers as most of these elements are within the combat area.

It shouldn't be that hard to spot the joke, is it?

Oh I know, OP is being mocking with his idea. Issue is that it will sound perfectly reasonable for some folks & thereby it'll lose the comedic/satirical/whatever effect one tries to go for.

Got to keep in mind that for some folks armored tanks are utterly underpowered & they need any buff they can get. Due to this, i will approach any post like OP with serious response, unless it is truly beyond belief. This post by OP isn't sadly.

Source, I had to argue with someone on this forum, who was dead serious that the VK 100 is under-armored for its tier & needed more armor to be balanced. Or the guy i argued with who was convinced the KV-4 was more OP then the (old) Type 5 derp. Compared to that, OP post is sane.

I like my armored tanks, but above all I like them balanced, this inherently means they come with drawbacks, an aspect a certain group of heavy armored tank drivers have a hard time to grasp.

The obvious implication of the OP's joke.  is that everybody should play the way he wants.  Is that a reasonable position to hold?

If while playing you have ever made a mistake or ignored good advice.  How can anybody hold the above position? Failure of logic?

If you need a camonet on your heavy, then you're definitely playing it wrong.
