Alright why the [edited]does the gun mantlet of a Tier 10 HEAVY TANK have 160-170 mm flat armour?

Literally there's tier 5's and a lot of tier 6's that can pen this [edited]GUN MANTLET on a TIER 10 HEAVY TANK... why is this a thing? is it not enough to have the sides of the mantlet and the sides of the skirts like the fv215? is it not enough with the part between the upper hull and turret ring with 95 armour? and the cupola with 200mm armour? is 4 frontal weakspots not enough?

The tank was introduced when Wargaming put weak spots on tanks I believe

well, severy thin strips of pennable armor - if RNGesus doesn't like you or the target keeps wiggeling you won't hit them reliably xD

Its a really dumb weakspot and shouldn't be a thing. Dunno why its taking WG 6 decades to fix it.

Because it's german......I can't really imagine any other reason for this tank's weakspots. I have this tank as well and i hate playing it. They pen your mantlet if you fac the enemy, they pen your side if you try to sidescrape, and if you don't sidescrape or don't face them with your turret, they pen your lower plate (i know it's kinda strong but not in this goldspam meta). At the moment there is no reason playing that tank. #feelsbadman

Why should the tank have no weakspots? As weakspots go, this one is tiny!

Just like its T10 brothers the Maus and E100, WG have decided to make them vulnerable to return fire when taking a shot themselves. Unfortunately, this tank also has engine issues, I've driven it enough to realise why it's not a popular tank. The engine fires are far too regular. I would not increase/improve this tank's armour, I would make it more mobile to balance out the weaknesses.

Have you forgotten the large LFP, the small commander's cupola and the quite noticeable bulges of the side armor?

Just compare the armor profile of the Pz VII and the O705A. One tank is Soviet, one isn't.

Edit: But hey, the 705A has 50 less HP, so it is balanced Da.

did you even look at the pictures? it has so many weakspots its insane, having a gun mantlet that tier 5's and 6's can penetrate is too much. its enough with the side of the mantlet and the cuppola, thats 2 turret weakspots already, and the hull has lots of weakspots aswell. There is really no justification for the mantlet to have tier 6 armor.
