Hold the line against waves of enemies in the new PvE mode!

Waves of enemies?

Intelligence reports that the enemy is armored to strike your positions.Command order: to hold lines at any cost!

 

Tankers!

Soon you will find a new PvE event. Choose one of the units and fight side by side with other players against the advancing waves of enemies under the control of artificial intelligence.

The enemies are many and your chances of victory slim. Will you be able to survive this last stand?

Team-based PVE battles are coming to World of Tanks – stay tuned for more details to be revealed soon!

the player base has dropped THAT much that u implement pve? 

or u need to say that bots exist for this mode only?

As someone who plays world of warships, I approve of this. Its a useful addition and could lead to pve missions and recreations of certain battles, which is also a warships feature.

PvE mode is available on consoles. I tried it once. Missions had various objectives (capture several points, defend friendly tanks driven by NPCs, find and destroy artillery as optional objective etc) and were sometimes surprisingly difficult. Mostly because AI was aggressive and relentless - it kept rushing you and you got quite often overwhelmed. And it was quite a good shot. I remember a mission with several TDs hidden in bushes. Rooting them out was very difficult and they kept sniping me out of the game.

wow, WG cant even implement a new mode without getting criticized....

It looks insane if the previous modes (undead/ strange goo collecting one) were anything to go by!

I can imagine players tryharding to be in the top 5% for PvE because some amazing T8 premium reward tank is on the line, like IS-46A and then like 3/10 guys in your team playing an artillery on high difficulty defense when you are 1 win away from the top 5. Even in PvE players will troll.

Rather interesting but be careful, we all saw what happened to Armored Warfare when their USP was PvE battles. No one played randoms anymore against humans.

They told us a long time ago that they will implement PvE...

Like in ships when you get tired of fighting with human bots you can go relax and play against bots that know what to do lol. Hope we getting scenario battles like ships then will be nice to get away from the stupidity of randoms for a change, I might play tanks abit more then I can only handle 1-5 games before I get pissed off with people and the crappy RNG right now..
