After the unified whatnot was installed I thought there would be a setting to bring back the loading intro movie but no tickable option to be found. Noticed a thread a couple of days ago saying its gone for everyone. I know its just a little thing but it added to the atmosphere . Do you miss it and want it back?

This plays in the background of the login screen.

Edit: Running the game via the .exe, I've no idea what happens if you start the game via WGC as I have never tried. :)

Isn't the 1.0 Yolo movie different from the original one?

As I recall the earlier one being loads of tanks running at each other on that T1 map...

I remember something that showed some factory assembly line. WG may not appreciate these intro movies as much as we do as often they are more fun and engaging than the game itself these days....

Don't miss it, one of the first options I set in the game was to turn it off. I'm not bothered if it comes back as long as we still have that option.

I miss that WG header we used to have showing some WW2 German tankers in skintight leather kit, peaked hats and gloves, and looking like a backing act for The Village People.

:sceptic: Well.. in WW2 it was the Germans who had the snappiest uniforms, only rivaled by the 1943 pattern Soviet and Victory parade uniforms. Actually, they still beat in style most things out there today, especially in both Germany and Russia.

The Continentals have never quite grasped the idea that style is not quite a matter of snappy suits and shoes.
