I'm playing this game for like 7 years with lot of huge breaks. I'm moderate player with say 49% win rate, who never realy master this game but playing it for fun.

I rarely post anything to forum but this i have to since it's really stresfull.

There's few tanks i just can't win with. One of them is Progetto 65 and Leopard 1. Sometimes i feel like if i dont have 6-7 kills, we will lose game.

Until i fully load ammo with Progetto, 2-3 guys from my team die on top of that, i'm in T10 team with experienced players.

While i play with some other tanks, say Obj 705,Badger etc... even if i die my team wins.

My question is, do you have some tanks you love to play but it just doesn't go as expected?

I never sell premiums, as you never know when they might come in useful as a trainer, and sometimes they can surprise.  E.g. the despised PzKw IID giveaway from a few years ago is rubbish with AP but superb with a full load of gold ammo.

Other than that I will usually sell anything that gets sub 50% wins after giving it a fair crack of the whip.  At 52%+ wins I will think about having it as a keeper.

Some "OP" tanks don't work for me, and some "UP" ones do.  It seems quite a personal thing.

While I certainly have tanks I love to play but without the outcome I wished for (namely Churchill GC, the duck, Ram and the rat(UE57)), I'm not so sure they can compare to the progetto and the leo - both are papery meds with good guns and good mobility.

Sadly, the current meta seems so be centered on tanks with mobility, good guns and strong helmets and body armor - so since the matchmaker pairs you with tanks that have these qualities, these tanks are subpar if forced to imitate their counterparts playstyle.

You have only 15 games in the Leopard 1, so that's hardly a useful number to start looking at winrate.

In general you seem to be severely struggling in higher tier meds though, so it's probably best to find a few meds you like at tier 6, 7 or 8 and try to really get to grips with how to play meds before returning to tier 9 and 10's.

You can always throw some replays on here to see what you're doing wrong, people might sometimes be a bit rough in their comments, but usually people give useful advice.

I really can't say it's all about me. It's true, i stuggle at T10 meds, actually with all T10's and i'm not denying it. For example Leopard PT, i had win rate of 52%, Standard B about 54% with low survability of about 25%, but i did my share of damage. Once i've upgrade them to T10, it's all gone. My team die like flies and there's nothing to do about it, unless i'm exeptional player, which i'm not.

It's not rocket science you just have to watch top level gameplay regarding proggeto65 and somewhat copy it there is youtube and twitch and boom your good ,

Italian tanks are addiction they are fun to play and you can get insanely good winrate and dmg with them without spending any credits ,standard ammo is great on them ,basically the cheapest stat padding out there ,i would also recommend to stick to t9 standard b it gets a lot easier mm you get to fight t9-t8 more which is a lot easier to deal with .

Spoiler

Tier 10 German LT, I have a really low WR with it. That's not the reason why I seldom play it, but still.

" i'm in T10 team with experienced players"

Maybe 5 years ago, but now the baddies are at every tier.

and yes, I hoped the T54 Lightweight would be great but so far it's not going as planned.

Last night I had a bad night. Lost lots of battles. Had a bad internet connection and I was tired so as a result I sucked and played like a muppet. This morning I played like a boss (well not unicum level but better than average player) and I managed to be the top player by XP almost in all my battles and I think I lost 1 or maybe 2 battles. So yeah, in this game lots of time you either have to do all the work or just lose.

Btw some tanks just never work. Like my 50B with 2.7k avg damage and 45% WR. I'd like to chalk it up to bad luck but I really don't believe in luck. It's just the teams I get they do a lot of stupid stuff for no reason.

And the opposite is also true, sometimes you just suck in a tank but somehow you will most of your battles because you always get the better teams. Like my BP or T-44. I played them like a muppet and won most of the time.

You know if this team distribution is really random then there is always a 50/50 chance of winning/losing but when you are always getting the worse team then it's not 50-50.

And in some tanks it keeps happening like in FL when you spawn on the attacking team in zone C not once but 3 or 4 times in a row. It's a mathematical improbability but it is a probability.

And if you want to know more about these mathematical improbabilities, take a look in the mirror at yourself. Out of between 40 million to 1,2 billion sperms that could have created different people, the sperm that made you won the race. A one in a hundred million chance (to say the least) of being born.

Sold. Now I'm sure i can't win battle with Progetto, for some reason i'm always on loosing side even with highest damage, most kills...whatever...just can't win.

There is really no problem with Progetto 65, it's really strong tier 10 tank for randoms.
My suggestion is to watch some streams of good players, that's the best way to improve your level. Watch them and than copy them.

If you are finding tier 10 frustrating , then find some lower tier more suitable and enjoyable to you. Tier 10 can be very punishing to any mistakes. Needs to be played with more caution than lower tiers.

Yes my Su101 (rus td) .....had a fun grind in the the tier 4,5,6,7....but my Su101 tier 8 is cursed.

It dose not matter somehow we got to lose the game...im glad i am at the tier 9 now.

I also tend to struggle in my tier 8 french Lt while the tiers before i was suprised how good the tanks where,.

It's a strong tank for experienced and good players, it is however still a paper medium in a tier 10 meta that largely favours armour.

It's not an easy to play tank, huge potential and the clip ability certainly adds more muscle than your average tier 10 paper med, but its not forgiving and you have the added complexity of calculating when to use your full clip and when to fire single shot etc.

I mean he mentions the 705 and Badger for example, they are a lot more forgiving tanks because they have armour, you can drive to the front, trade, bounce some stuff and you'll generally do ok, but a Progetto can quite easily get wiped out in seconds if played poorly.

There's 15 people in my T10 team, so i accept my 6.66% of responsibility of loosing game. Even less, since i had at least 2 kills in bad, really bad game.
