Rainy, snowing, stormy and night maps, or just random weather in maps would be nice change from the dull old weather that maps have. Weather could change in the middle of the match for the worst, (rainy storm) so it would make camping players to get off their asses and go look for the enemy. (no one cares about arty anyway).

In night maps guns would flash in the dark and give away players position more quickly, so it would make the playing harder, and more challenging.

Excellent idea, not sure about changing the weather during the battle though. But changing the default visibility would bring some much needed diversity to the rather small collection of maps.

It would be easier if all maps had a set climate. For example Karelia, it is already some thunder storm in the back round so why not bring the thunder storm to the map? Let's say if the lightning is coming down it will randomly pick a tree and the lightning will show a flash effect on the ground and maybe shatter or set the tree on fire. But those effects can be turned off if you dont want it.

If some maps has so it snows it would be nice if the stacks up on the tank while in battle. But on the engine the snow would melt and come down on the back etc. And when you are standing still and going again snow should fall off especially with fast vehicles.
