Expensive, 25€ for a tier 7 tank. It should have a tier 8 credit income for that kind of money or alternatively be on a 30% discount to be viable.

Nothing wrong with that. I'd rather play a reskinned version of a tank that I like, than a shiny new OP premium that could have been a tech tree vehicle.

 

I finally got to chance to buy this one. I like the historic tanks. Another quirky tank to 3-mark. I bought the Bretagne Panther and the premium Firefly also for that reason.

 

I do think it's kinda expensive though. It should have been like €22,-. But hey, going to the pub will cost you more money for only one night out. A pixel tank is fun for a couple of nights more and at least won't give you a hangover.

 

Now I have to find some time to play again... Haven't been playing for months.

Ah, correct. But still, they should balance the original techtree tanks instead. As they should have with all the midtier germans. I mean, wtf, that Pershing isn't even a different version or anything. Lots of crews gave their tank a nickname (if that one is even true, that is), that doesn't make them special in any way. And it took out a Panther... So? Thousands have been taken out. Just because the Pershing was so late, it barely saw any combat anymore, doesn't justify c&p one as a f****** premium. Meanwhile, the most iconic techtree tanks in the game (hint: none of them is russian) are not played at all due to having always been pieces of crapperformance-wise. In it's early days the game was World of russian tanks. Now it's World of Russian and fake premium tanks.

The point is that you have to spend money to get the experience you should have with the techtree-versions. You get conned, simple as that.

the tier 8 version is way more mobile and has a better gun with awesome APCR. It's the same hull, don't know if it's also the same turret. It's a different tank.

 

I think it's a good way for WG to sell premiums. Historic vehicles that are not OP. Nothing wrong with that, even if you can't have exactly the same tank as a techtree/free version. Premiumaccount does the same. It gives you a different game experience than with a F2P account. That's the businessmodel. Again, nothing wrong with that. It's only wrong when you can get a competitive edge over other players by paying. And the Eagle 7 isn't better than anything else on it's tier, so it's perfectly fine. The T20 and T29 are both better USA tanks at tier 7 for as far as I can tell.

I know that this tank is a little bit slow and not OP on paper, but in my personal experience this tank is a beast. I have over 60% wins in this tank after 100 battles and I am an average player. This is not my only tier 7 or 8 tank in which I've got around 60% wins, though.

It doesn't earn credits like a tier 8, of course, but it can meet tier 5. This tank, as top tier or even in tier 8, feels like a tier 8 med which got damaged by a shot (less HP). I really enjoy it.

Love the T20 and the Pershing so this one would probably fit me like a glove. Unfortunately it's too expensive, costing almost as much as some tier 8s and more than all the other 7s. If I manage to get a 20% discount from tankrewards (and it works on this) I might reconsider, since the price then will be quite normal.

12.69 power to weight ratio, this is not going to move like the T20.  Shame at a better price I would've been tempted.
