Hi tankers, I want to discuss about e100 buffs.

What would you buff

1. Turret armour

2. Gun handling

3. DPM

4. All of these

In current meta e100 is very underwhelming, everyone spams premium ammo at your turret, it is just not enjoyble to play with it

P.S. How much we need to wait for e100 buffs?

It's a german HT, of course it's underwhelming and according to WG's policy it's completely fine. I can imagine only 1 scenario for a buff: they rename it Obj.100, and after that it will be godlike.

WG will give it 2kmh more reverse speed and to balance this out increase gun dispersion from 0.4 to 0.5 and thats it.

They could give the 128mm gun better DPM (~2500?) and more standard pen (~260?) to make it a proper alternative. For now it is just a grind/freeExp sink to unlock the 15cm gun.

If I worked for WG's balance department, these would be the changes I'd make:

 

-Nerf the alpha from 750 to 700.

-Buff the ROF from 3,13 to 3,65, increasing the base DPM from 2348 to 2555

-Buff the accuracy from 0,38 to 0,35

-Buff the aiming time from 2,78 s to 2,6

-Buff the AP pen from 246 mm to 260 mm.

-Nerf the HEAT pen from 334 mm to 315 mm.

Nerf the other broken tierX and get rid (or drastically reduce) the monotier dumb games in random.
E100 and similar sub par tanks will still have a nice day.

This would just broke the tank.

E100 revolves around alpha and the 3 shell type.

If you lower alpha and HEAT pen for a useless 14mm more AP pen you would remove all the advantage the tank has.

Instead I would do the following to enhance it's main characteristic:

-buff gun handling so angling turret became easier

-buff gun caliber from 150mm to 150.2mm to overmatch 50mm plates

-buff turret sides to 170 and hull sides to 150

 

Job done.

You can better angle your armour and, at the same time, deal damage more easily by using the right shell, that is how E100 should be played.

I would rather only touch the gun handling really.

the armour should be left well alone, we all remember what happened with the maus, don't we?

A bit of gun handling buff and faster turret traverse would do wonders, especially the later.

As they said, fist thing to be reworked is ammo.
After premium ammo rework (if it happens) tanks will be reworked. Not E-100 or any special BUT ALL.

That's why i am suspicious about ammo rework since it's too much work for one guy to balance (Yuri guy, only one responsible for balancing tanks in multi-milion company LOL).

So it's pointless to ask for buffs because noone decided yet what E-100 should be in this game. Superheavy, yes, but 'light' superheavy or mobile fortress. Etc... High pen low dpm etc...

E100 and Tiger II are up for rebalance. Not buffs as WG said it. So what that indicates remains to be seen.

If WG is planning to keep e100 in game and not to replace it, because none of the other tanks that they mentioned took long time like e100 to be "rebalanced", i think they wanna bring new tank, and they are searching for good matchup now. :/

Comparing it with the 60TP they could also improve the shell velocities - 60TP as 900m/s while the E100 fires AP at 757 and HEAT at 600m/s...

Gun depression could also be interesting, considering the huge turrets there should be plenty of room inside, no?

Yh, a car can fit inside of it.

E 100 is okay, except the frontal armor, all they need to do is, add more AP pen, and a bit more frontal armor(280 mm should be fine).

  • Increase AP pen up to 260, and keep long reload, it's just fine if we won't waste time and shells on a tank without any pen.
  • Add a bit more shell velocity speed, and decrease gun accuracy from 0.38 to 0.36, it's fair against it's long reload.
  • E 100 speed as they said on "Mobility" bar, it's 30 km/h, but what i see as top seed is 28-26 km/h, so where's that speed? At least they should make it 35, so it can reach 30-32 on straight lines.

dude, touching german tanks' armour is asking for problems, I'm sure you remember what happened to the maus. And believe me, I wish my E100s cheeks were more resistant, but alas, it makes me learn the hard way that you have to angle the turret. if I were to buff the armour if it were the last option available to me, it would be where the turret bustle(?) bottom be, because when I angle my turret properly, I do ocasionally get penned there.

I'd say, reward the E100 players that angle themselves properly, punish those who don't

 

call me paranoid all you want, but I'm not interested in reliving that monster of 3.2k HP, insane gun handling and armour on top of that
