Equipment: v-stabs, vents and optics

Crew skills

  • Commander: BIA, 6th sense, repairs, recon, situational awareness
  • Driver: BIA, repairs, off-road driving, smooth ride
  • Gunner: BIA, repairs, snap shot, safe stowage

Stay hull down of course and carry a good amount of HEAT. Arty hits can be painful so be careful when there are more than one!

I want to add something about consumables. Don't play with small consumables in tier 10, you are not going to make credits anyway. Large repair kits add 10% to your repair speed and they repair all damaged modules. Large med kits add 15% resistance to crew injury. Automatic fire extinguishers are...well, automatic!

Buy them in bulk when there is a discount, same with food if you want to use it.

^^This. Just add 6th sense to the commander.

Play from hulldown position to next hulldown position. Don't get caught on the open. Save your HP as much as you can as you do not have much for a heavy. Play veeery slow and with care.

You have -12 gun depression, this means you can work hull down spots that others can't so try some positions out and you'll catch people unaware.

I don't understand the sense of mounting the coated optics as it is not a great sniper , I would mount the gun laying drive together with the vertical stabilizer and the fans.

The same way I equipped my T57 Heavy on which I play very well.

Obviously to compensate the poor visual range , you must use combat rations imo.

It is just that optics provide more benefits than gun laying drive. With GLD your aim time goes down by 0.2 seconds, but with optics your view range goes from terrible to pretty decent. With bia, optics and vents you're at 458m view range which means you're more than capable of spotting for yourself when necessary. Also it's easier to spot enemies sniping at you, especially ones that are more than 400m away.

Also, if there are some tier10 tds aiming at a ridge not many tanks are willing to take a peak, the kravagn is one a few tanks that actually can take that risk (aside gold from JP or E4 or something like that)

View range is king in randoms. It's not about snipping, but knowing where the enemy before they do. As the game progresses the ones with good view range will have an edge.
