Should WG let us have another go at these good tanks?

I really want the Progetto 46. It was offered for free... I was not able to do that, it was too hard, I tried, so was for t-44 100 (which included playing all nation tanks, which I did not have, still don't have.).

Yeah, good idea, but this is WG my friend, they won't offer any tank for free after it's marathon ends. :)

To be honest, I look at some of the marathons (not the REALLY easy ones we have seen previously) and think that in the time it took me to complete the marathon, I could do a shift of overtime and buy several tier VIII Premium vehicles.

It's nice if you can get something playing as you normally do and as much as you normally do, but otherwise- not interested.

Last couple of big marathons I've played for as long as I can be bothered and bought the rest. A tier 8 premium tank for £10-15 is still a bargain compared to what they usually cost.

As for repeat marathons, if I haven't even started the marathon then I don't want the tank so there's no point offering it again. If I ever change my mind and decide I really want a Caernarvon AX, I'll buy it. In the meantime, marathons for new tanks, please ... I'm currently wondering if the Senlac is going to be offered for the summer marathon to coincide with 1.6 and the British light line.

I think you're right - don't think either tog or SPershing were in any marathons since the Togtober-marathon years back....

Is there a particular reason you feel they should run the marathon again just to please you? What's in it for WG?

The game is already invaded , especially in the FL mode, with ridiculous premium tanks such as progetto46, ebr75 and lt432.

We have no need for other useless marathons.

I already have a CDC, I must say that thanks to the FL mode I started playing it again and with good results, it is totally useless in the random maps because are too small for such a big and vulnerable tank.

Anyway we don't need any more marathons from here to 2020 , not even for tanks under the tier 8.

"Punch yourself in *edited* repeatedly for two weeks and earn a CDC because that's the experience you'll get with the tank!"

They have become easier with time tbh vs when they started with it. Tho as we have moved along, the time you get has gotten less and less.

IS-6 was the first one. 3 weeks iirc to get 100K XP in each nation available at the time with tier 6 tanks only. So on the nations with only 1 or 2 tier 6 tanks, it went slower. Japan was added right before the event ended. So you had to grind the tier 6 there, and get 100K XP in the Chi-To on top of it. No tokes for sale to skip nations then. WZ-111 iirc added damage with the XP for each nation. And tokens.

Tbh I like the current setup of stages where you don't need nations. Progetto vs time was not an issue, as that was only XP missions iirc? TS-5 gave you half a week less, but no XP missions. But the win 40 and 90 games stage was not done fast if you lacked the ability do the more difficult variant faster. So less ideal tbh vs the XP one IMO.

The first one that was close to achievable for me was the T25 Pilot. There was room to leave a mission or two if you couldn't do it/play, but I think I missed the beginning. I bought one token and for the enjoyment I've had from it it was too much.

The recent staged ones- such as the French WV- I just played and took the rewards that I managed to achieve. I never expected nor intended to try and complete it. I got the T-34-85M and M10 TD, but they were sooooo easy.

Anything that requires a win is the biggest pain. We all know how that can go.

No thanks, we've had enough marathons the past year already.

Played as much as I normally do. Bought the packages for £10-£15 and it's all good as far as I am concerned.

I thought it a reasonable exchange.

On the odd occasion I am away/on holiday, I miss out. Boo hoo me I guess.

I see no reason to keep repeating them.

Incidentally, just for my information, wasn't the 111 a marathon tank?

Some Chinese heavy I missed that one :(
